I really really like the art in this Game! I found it to be really fun and addicting, great work!!

Art is simple but cute. I like the idea of the game, and it was very surprising the first time I gained weight! I think it's a little repetitive flying back and forth over a flower to collect more pollen -- I would have preferred if it kept going up so long as you hovered over it. I didn't know how to progress once I gained weight the second time though?? I just die when I jump and I can't think of what else to do. Still, I had fun. Nice work.

@fluidvolt That is a great suggestion, we originally had it that way but the developer changed the mechanic to enforce single collection to make the puzzle more meaningful. Pretty fun when the bee just got fatter. Cute small game! Perfect as a kids game.

Interesting game. I liked the happy mood and the music grew on me towards the end. It could use some instructions or an explanation though as it took me a sec to figure it out. The fat bees were great.

Me reading the instructions: "Jump?! This is nonsense, I am a bee!" Me, a minute later: "Oh." Cute game.

Interesting game but I couldn't get past the second level either unfortunately.

Cool game! The music perfectly compliments the mood and artwork of the game, however it did get quite repetitive. The game concept is also really neat. Great work!

The bee looks really cute and adorable at first, but then it starts looking more like a dog than a bee :dog::rofl:. Also liked the text when trying to enter the hive without polls multiple times. One minor "bug" you should fix is that in the second level at the right end of the world after the tree there's just grey instead of the blue background. Overall a cool game with really good looking artwork. :thumbsup:

@scowling-pastry we definitely could have used some instructions for the controls. We originally had some but took it off because we were supposed to add in extra graphics for the instructions but didn't have time for it(it was originally plain text). Fat bees for the win!

holy shit I love this freaking dog-bee and hippo-bee it's hilarious. I think the difficulty is good although it takes perhaps a bit too long to pick up the pollen. Maybe have flowers only carry 4 pollen each and transformations take 4 and 6 pollen? Or even less perhaps? Otherwise I'm sitting there jumping into the same flower over and over again.

@megalink ahah shay was actually annoyed with a lot of the music but it was the best I could do without any music experience! I had no clue I would be composing for this game at all! Hopefully I can get some music lessons in me and make something better for next time!

I liked the gag, but I am too proud to ask for help to learn to get to the third level.

@yokcos700 I think that's a great idea. Originally we wanted less pollens but we were planning to add more maps with more plants so we were hoping to keep the same number throughout the game. At the current time we are unable to change pollen count per level due to our programming, but hopefully we can change it for our post-jam!

This is a great humorous game, the bee definitely caught me by surprise. Though i did get stuck on level 2. I just couldn't figure it out. The hive wanted me to get 16 pollen, but by the time i got 16 pollen, i couldn't reach the hive. Not sure if this was intended but that's what happened to me.

Was this your first Ludum Dare? because this is an amazing product, just a few things that i would've liked to see (keep in mind, i do understand the time constraint). Some sort of simple tutorial to tell the player what is going on, nothing complex but something to inform the player what everything is. I was still stumped on what the red thing under the pollen counter was.

Another thing is polish. Polish is an essential to every game. If you every consider on further working on this game (btw, please do so), add polish to the game. This might include a sound when you 'transform' or a particle effect when you collect pollen or enter the hive. Thank you for the suggestions, they are indeed welcomed! The red counter would be for the third level, it should be removed from the first and second level since it is not used for those two levels. I would definitely like to work on polishing the game, will need some free time for me and my partner to add stuff in!
