Voting category opt-outs

Consider me opted-out of the Theme category. Everything else is fair game, though.

Known issues

  • You can go offscreen which makes it harder for the turrets to hit you. Please don't do this.
  • If your screen resolution isn't high enough, some important things may be offscreen.
  • Particles are never cleaned up, but shouldn't cause too much of a performance hit.
  • Background music cuts out after first restart in Chrome. Try Firefox Beta, Developer, or Nightly. Firefox Stable will work, but is a little slow.

Very challenging game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/KYlBGlHp4vY), if you’d like to take a look :)

I liked it even though it's a bit hard for my taste. Eventually those nasty lasers sniff me and nuke me out of existence .
It's a great Compo entry with pretty basic graphics (but I think this is intentional so I consider it a plus) and nice sound. I'm think you managed to get quite some gameplay into it despite limited Compo time you had. Good work!

Great game feel. A lot of fun to play, and manages to be very difficult without being frustrating. I didn't mind flying through the same chaotic section over and over, because shooting turrets and frantically dodging bullets is inherently satisfying. One of my favorite entries I've played so far.

The visuals weirdly reminded me of N The Ninja with the smooth, anti-aliased graphics and laser drones. Sounds effects were very meaty and satisfying, good job there. I couldn't get very far unfortunately (never been good at this kind of game) so thanks for posting a play-through so I don't have to miss out on the later bits ^_^

Just wanna say this here, but the sound glitch happened in Opera as well.

Although, i must say, while the game is quite interesting and fun, it is also quite hard ^^; The bit with the red turrets is especially tricky, as the end of the hallway is a small escape with two nigh-impossible to hit and dodge turrets. Maybe push back the wall a bit?
