Combination of Alchemy and Match-X: Alchemy's combination (meta:3) mechanic and Match-X's grid positioning. Start with a big grid and just 4 basic elements (but a few of each in the first grid); combine reagents together by dragging a reagent to an adjacent square - arrows pop up where you can go.

It matters which way you react reagents: Add Water to Fire to make Steam, but add Fire to Water to make Alcohol (Fire Water ~ get it?)

Watch out - some reagents explode, some reactions create loads of the product, some reactions destroy everything around it and some reagents cannot be moved once they have been created.

When you run out of reagents or squares you can click Reset, which will clear the board and spawn new reagents from all the ones you've found so far - but each time you reset, the board gets smaller until you must either discover all the reagents - or concede.

Have fun!

I'm working on a game involving the alchemy mechanic at the moment so it was a natural choice to do something with this under-explored game mechanic. I will probably continue developing this little game as a mobile app. I'll be sure to post here with any news in future. In the meantime - good luck and happy playing / rating!

-- I've added an Android build ~ I've only tested it on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. If you play the apk please let me know your device specs in your comment. Thanks for playing - M@

Played the android build on [this](https://www.gsmarena.com/lenovo_tab_4_10_plus-8605.php), worked fine enough! Would have preferred portrait layout though, but implementing that is probably not the best use of valuable dev time 🤔

I think this combination of genres is anything but incompatible. Which is good! I've never really liked these recipe hunting games, but mixing in a physical grid structures the experience nicely. Especially reactions that change the board spice things up neatly!

One thing I direly missed is a list of all the combinations that player has found. Trying out new recipes seems to take ages, and anything that speeds up the process would be most welcome.

Amazing job! The combination of match mechanics with the mix-and-see-what-happens worked really well, with some cool details such as having certain tokens spread around the board when you managed to match a recipe.

The execution is also very solid, the music in particular had this relaxing vibe I really liked.

Although I've only played the web version, I can see it shining on mobile as a full game, it has a lot of potential. Congrats!

Nice take on alchemy, and altogether a good alchemy game. Looks good and feels polished. I think the controls can be improved, somehow I had trouble picking up pieces sometimes.
