Gameplay wise, I think the turn timer kind of defeated the purpose of it being a turn-based game. It still felt a lot like a bullet hell action game. This is not necessarily bad though, as it's just one version of combining the two themes!
Other than that, I think the UI could use some improvement, because having to look down at the rather small display of cards and then up again at the ship to direct the movement cost quite a lot of time and effort which could have been solved better.
It really was fun to play though, so good job on creating such a fun and nice looking experience. :)
This is the fourth approach about combine "turn-based" and "bullet-hell" genres I have seen in LD41.
Very inspiring, great work!
COngratulation !
The timing is really tight
I was a bit frustrated by some punishing features (removing health when you don't use a card...), butthere is lot to be done with this concept
Good job, and good luck!
#### POSITIVE
- Nice graphics.
- Few card's, and that's good.
- Timer for move.
- Two diferent move kind's
#### OBSERVATION
- The timer it's too short, at first I feel really nervus, but then just angry.
- Controls are intutive, but hard to remmeber (But I think it's just me).
- I was thinking, when you Hit the boss something happen, but no, nothing. (Even if he kill, feels better than he ignores me).
Simple but dificult, nice.
