This brought back great memories of my days as a space pirate chasing that sweet space juice. 5 stars.

I wish that the music would change back to the softer part when there was no enemies but overall this game was awesome. The jewels looking like stars made for such a cool atmosphere. This was one of the funner games Ive played!

Funny game idea, and I liked how you could take position behind the turrets. I think that the music doesn't fit the game though; couldve used a more atmospheric sound. It's space after all! But that's just my opinion. Nicely done!

@tobiasnl Thanks for the criticism! I would of like to develop a better score but we ran out of time. Thanks anyway!

Impressive 72H Game. Control need some adaptation time for me. Really like Weapon2 with turret view to kill enemies right behind your ship. Missile usefull too when the enemy is too hard to shoot. Front laser efficient too for first enemy type

Good fun flying around shooting pirates! nice job :D although the camera seems a bit close to the ship ^.^

I wasn't a fan of the normal background music, the battle music was quite good though, felt like the right amount of excitement :D

The camera change on the spaceship was quite fun too, overall pretty decent 72h game :)

The game is relay fun to play, I love your setting and art style of the game. It could use more work on the controls otherwise great game 5/5

A very original idea.

I liked your ship. However, It would be good if I can use mouse to control the ship's lift angles.

AI-generated music?

ENjoyed the game, nice models. COntrols maybe not too intuitive with lowering and ascending, kept forgetting about the spacebar. I think sound effects would be better for recognizing that you are attacked rather than the tune.

This is a good game. The most enjoyable thing for me was the atmosphere, the feeling of exploring the space with every bit of freedom and lightness related to it. While having this idea (collecting gems in a kind of a limited space) attached to space traveling does not necessarily play in harmony with what I personally tend to think about it, and I cannot say for sure if the level design was intended or forced by the time limits.

Nevertheless, the idea looks very interesting and cool, I enjoyed playing it. Thank you :)

The controlling was weard. I found it hard to aim good and steer with a good feeling.
But the Piano music was nice. But i missed the Reverb on it :D give the music more Space!

Hello. Your game is very well done. The sprint feature added an nice dynamic to the combat but like other commentators, I had a hard time aiming with the controls, even when I had sped away and lined up an attack run. Overall very good though.

This has potential, but needs lots of work. The controls feel very rigid -- there's no floaty inertia feeling like you would expect in outer space. Also the player's ship model is very large and takes up so much of the screen, making it hard to tell what's in front of you. Lack of camera controls makes this a detriment. I would have liked to see some animation to help me know when I was picking up treasures. When I was attacked I couldn't see the enemy (they were behind me, I think) and I couldn't tell if I was effective when I tried to shoot at them. I didn't think the music fit very well with the space theme.

@csanyk we agree with all of those points. We wish we could have done more but this was our first Ludum dare and we are only beginners at 14. When the competition is over we will definitely carry on developing it. Thanks!

@sam-dower no worries, my comments are intended to give you useful feedback for improving the game. That's how we all get better:)

Pretty great game. The music was quite exquisite. It looks great and has a good idea. The controls and camera were not ideal. Aiming guns was a bit of a mess, but otherwise I liked it. Keep up the good work and this will be really cool.
