Wandering around was fun, and the procedurally generated world was interesting. There were a few orbs that seemed impossible, though, and I wasn't sure exactly what the controls were (maybe I missed something). Also, an orb counter would have been helpful. Note also that the vblank was messed up on OS-X, although that may be a Java thing. Good job overall!

This was pretty cool. The music was great. I wish there was some kind of UI for number of orbs collected. Had I known how close I was, I might have tried to find them all. That's all I got!

@sorlok @djfariel There's sort of an orb counter at the peak of the mountain, at least if you haven't already collected enough orbs once you get there. Perhaps you didn't go there?^^

I left clicked on the file a few times but it wouldn't run. Is there something else I have to do?

@MrChippy Did you extract the folder? Do you have Java version 7 or higher?

Not much substance or gameplay to it but must say despite how weird the graphics were I kinda liked them somehow.

Unfortunately I had huge screen tear issues on Windows :(

Cool music, and the game of course could use some changes, but for the timeframe certainly a nice game!

Lots of screen tearing (I think? Glitchy graphics anyway) on Windows 10 with a 1060.

I liked the music. I wasn't able to beat it due to one inaccessible orb, but I really liked the vibe.

Can't play, the game starts pretty weird (fullscreen on both my monitors, showing just the spacey background texture) and throws an exception repeatedly. Specifically, this exception: https://pastebin.com/FhJ04TYU
I'm on Arch Linux and have 64-bit OpenJDK version 1.8.0_121.

I can say the graphics look pretty nice though, from the screenshots.

The game drew me and kept me playing, with the attraction of the ending. The player controlled smoothly and easily, with collision being handled quite well. I did notice the world kind of being rather stuttery when moving, and often causing lots of screen tearing. The music was done really well, I just wished it played more often or was a longer piece to fill in the silence. The graphics got the message across, but could have been made a little better. So, it was a good game, and I had fun, but with a bit more work it could be really improved

I enjoyed the art (especially the characters slight smile), but didn't end up finding much of anything. Ended up giving up. It was a pleasant experience though! Nice job.

I played this for a lot longer than I thought I would. Once I got the orb's power, I found it really liberating and satisfying to get those orbs that were out of reach. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure if there was an end - I ended up rastering over the entire map in search for any I was missing but just couldn't find them. There's some blurriness that I don't associate with frame drops - seems like the draw calls are behind? Or maybe it just doesn't have vsync enabled? Anyway, that may have made it a bit harder for me to spot them while flying.

Great mood. The visuals and occasional clips of music somehow reminded me of wandering through the forests in Ultima Online (a very positive nostalgia).

Interesting world. I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)
