Ballermann III: The Expendabuilds by xoidberg

My fourth Ludum Dare!
Shoot. Shoot some more. Shoot way way more than before and maybe you will probably loose anyway, so enjoy the music.
Rules: - complete rows with blocks - completing rows fast rewards more points - not using blocks reduces points - rows spawn over time at the bottom
Controls: - mouse click to shoot at blocks - 'r' key to restart - 'escape' key to quit
Used tools: - Unity3D 2017.2.0 - Photoshop CC - Audacity - https://soundation.com/studio - https://www.freesoundeffects.com - http://labbed.net/software/labchirp/ - Font: Monoton from https://www.fontsquirrel.com/

The graphics and music was very nice, it created a cool atmosphere. Because of the clear visuals the game was quite easy to understand after a while, though as others have said, it was somewhat overwhelming to be put into the game without some instructions or guidelines.
Overall, cool and fun game. Great job!
Good graphics, mucsic, concept: Great job!
As other has said it would be nice to be able to rotate blocks because now I had problems creating rows.
Otherwise a fun game to play with some good music
Just a few critiques here:
- I'd love to be able to right click on a piece to rotate it, and left click on it to shoot it.
- This might make it too easy, but I think it might be neat to see a beam of light that shoots straight down to the bottom of the level when you hover over a piece so that you get a better idea of how it lines up.
- Along the same lines, it would be cool if the piece you are currently hovering over turned white or had some indicator that you were on it.
- Would be nice to have all the text on the bottom fade away after the game starts. It was a little distracting.
- I think the piece coming in from both sides is totally fine, and an awesome mechanic, but I think they should each have their own dedicated row so that they don't overlap.
This submission is so cool. I'm jealous of your idea of this hybrid style. Well done!
If you don't have any abilty to move/rotate blocks as they fall, filling gaps under blocks becomes impossible. It is very hard to recover from a mistake.
WELL DONE! Keep up the A+ work xD
Nice game, I like the constraints it puts on your mechanics, for example you have to shoot things really early to get them right at the edges.
I like the music, it really fits the game play.
Great job, keep up the good work! :-)
