**Overall, I enjoyed the game**

Some notes I had:
* 1920x1080 wasn't an option on startup, but it was in game.
* Screen gets over-populated with food pretty quickly. Maybe have it disappear after a certain amount of time?
* Option to go back to main menu when you die would be nice.
* My video settings didn't save between runs.
* Instead of allowing the user to keep shooting indefinitely, maybe have a warning instead that their health is too low to keep shooting? Would add more to the gameplay for me.

Overall, I think it's a good game! Thanks for participating!

@Parker8283 Thanks for trying out the game, and for the feedback.

I was worried on reading the description that it would hit a point where you got one shot, then had to wait avoid getting hit until that shot regenerated. But, there were enough enemies and enough "bigger meats" that that made it much better. I think you made the right choice by leaving the food there until you collect it, as it added a little more strategy about when and where you killed enemies (I purposely didn't shoot some until they were in certain areas of the screen). Overall, definitely like this game.

Nice game :D

- Gameplay was intuitive
- Sound was simple, but got the job done
- Graphics were really nice
- Shooting mechanics were fun
- A bit of strategy involved in food vs. agility, which is very nice

Very well made game which could take some tweaking here and there, but is on a very good way :D

Very nice complete experience - really fits the theme and a hreat level of strategy. Can very easily see how this could be expanded into a full game

The funnest games out of what I've played so far. Glad you put a scoring system in. I wish there were more fish types and that food would disappear overtime.

Nice, satisfying gameplay. I think the art works well and I really like that the food stays until you pick it up, it adds another aspect of strategy.

Thanks everyone!

@squatch Thanks! I wanted to create more enemies I just did not have any good idea until it was too late.

@falak I did not expect that someone would get this far (I could barely make 10000), well done!

Pretty entertaining game. More enemies / changing up the level as you progress would have been a good addition too! Still fun though ^^

I love these types of "areana" games where enemies come from all directions. The sound effects really stood out to me the most. The controls took a second for me to get used to but eventually fell into a good rhythm.

I liked how the player had to manage/balance a few different elements - the game was addictive! I got over 27000! I think it would have been good to have a visual cue when health got low - for example, the healthbar turned red, or started pulsing. Very fun, great use of sound and particle effects too!
PS - congrats on 20 ratings!

That was simple but effective. A tiny nitpick would be once the enemies are close to you and stick - they drain your health almost instantly by repeatedly colliding. But good stuff overall!

41300! I believe that's pretty high. I really enjoyed this, especially the duality with health bar, ammo and movement speed. This could be an incredibly solid game if it had a handful more enemy types and a few bosses/levels. The only issue I had with the enemies is that their bullets were the same colour as mine, just slightly larger, which can get a little confusing.

The graphics are decent, the only thing that is lacking is the UI as it's not consistently styled and the environment could've been a little more interesting. Particle FX were cool and added an extra amount of feedback. Audio was nice but some backing music would've gone a long way, even if it was some simple ambient underwater sounds.

Great job! :grinning:

This is a really nice game! I think it takes perhaps too much time to get difficult, so when I restart it's a little bit hassle to play with such an easy difficulty.
Other than that, I had fun to dodge, fire, check my volatile health bar :)

My high score is 176100. I think I probably could've kept going indefinitely though. I think you got the game feeling pretty good, even if you do slow down. I think some of that if just being able to shoot a lot and recover it quickly from the bodies of everything that you've killed. Perhaps moving to bigger enemies or enemies that take more than one hit to go down. Perhaps being bigger and slower would also slow down your weapon but make it stronger. Could be an interesting trade off. Keep up the good work!

Very solid fun. I like it. We've created games from a similar perspective. Though a bit challenging for me... I think your combat part is quite fast-paced and that's really addictive. Nice job!.

I like it! Good graphics for the time limit. My game has a very similar idea - "having" more stuff slows you down and makes it harder to fight enemies. And I love old school games :P

I made a big score but I didnt see it cause the score numbers are so small! I realised there actually was a score when I read the comments and ppl saying their score... And also healthbar was very small, and kinda hard to tell how many shots left you had. So I'd say, make GUI bigger and more visible. Other than that, the gameplay could have a bit of polish, or more enemies. I freakin loved the sound effects! How did you make them?

@peredom Thanks for the comment! About the sound effects, I just recorded some noises and edited them with audacity.
