Quest for Gold by Mordokay
Quest for gold is a turn-based platformer board game. Your objective is to reach the chest full of gold at the end of the board. You throw dices in order to move around the map. Each number on the dice corresponds to a possible move. You can end your turn whenever you want or even wait a turn in order to move when its more apropriate.
NOTE: In order to play you need an internet connection! Game fetchers other players from a a MySQL database. If you win your player will also go into that database ... that way the next players who play it can play against your run.
Basic Controls and Rules:
"A" and "D" rotate the camera to the left and right.
"W" Zooms In the camera on the player
"S" Zooms Out the camera on the player
When its your turn to play press "Space" to throw the dices
Once you jump you can move 2 times in the directions available with the arrows. After this you fall down. Note that falling does not remove any move points from your play.
Button:
-> End Turn: Ends your turn. next player starts playing.
-> Wait: Game turns 1 time without you doing any action. You lose a move.
Objective:
Get to the chest before any other player steals it and wins.

As others have mentioned a FF button would be nice but there is a reason for not having it ;)
The mechanic was easy to understand, except the rule of the "falling" that I had a hard time grasping. I even suceeded in walking through a stone and falling to my death.
I found the "wait" button very late (not the games fault, it is quite obvious...) but once I did, it started to clic.
I think if the game could be faster rolling the dice, moving etc, it would be less frustrating and much more available.
The interaction with internet is great, I failed to win :)
@Linkwin ahah now I know where I have seen your name... in the game.
Some ideas were working well, my simple but favorite being the labyrinth at the beginning.
Idea can definitely be expanded a little as a party game etc.
Interesting !
Seeing the other players move was really cool. I would add a fast-forward button when viewing their moves though.
I super dig the palm tree models in the game, and nice fun music as well!
That got pretty close in a few places, but the shortcut over the top of the rocks really helped :)
Excellent game, possibly the best I've played so far. Great work!!
I don't know why it took so long between dice rolls (was it letting other people take their turn?), it just slowed the game down a lot.
The graphics and audio were nice. Everything smoothly transitioned.
Nicely done!
It became very confusing to rotate camera around and correct angles and know where you were moving if you pressed keyboard keys ... this way everyone knows where the player is moving
I needs to be faster, since waiting for all the other players could take a really long time. A power-up system or different movement abilities could also help make it more fun.
