The car is a way to slow when changing direction. Otherwise the art is cool, the concept is cool too, you made a lot of card and the music works well (but it lacks sfx). I really enjoyed the titlescreen ^^

Keep coding :)

I can't seem to interact with anything on the main menu. It also seems like its rendering too large for my screen, even when I go into fullscreen.

Pretty fun and simple mash-up. I gotta say, I really loved the menu and the fact that everything in this game is done via cards.

The game itself was fun and quite challenging. I felt it was quite hard that you cannot drop cards directly on the car but you have you use the aiming tip. I think it could have been a bit more intuitive if you could do that but I guess I got used to this as well.

Overall, fun little game. Good presentation especially for the time used!

Hey there! So great job submitting and I have to admit I was pretty intrigued by the theme. I think long term it would be too annoying to play a game like this, but for a few minutes it's actually really fun. Unfortunately I thought a corn cob was a power up and it killed me!

A couple of suggestions - it's really difficult to judge when the other cars are going to come down so I would actually implement a fixed time step thing where you can tell, oh in 3 "turns" that car is going to drop, and I would allow queueing up a sequence of cards, so each step, the game does it's next action and plays your card, so if I see a car in lane 1 that's coming in 1 turn and a car in lane 2 that's coming in 2 turns, I would play like Left Wait Left or something like that. Just an idea to make it more predictable

Good luck and good job

Oh and for some reason this game reminded me of Spy Hunter - if anyone remembers what that is :)

Cool game, I like the idea! It was a bit annoying when I ran out of movement cards, but I guess that's the nature of the game.

Game was quite enjoyable for a short time playing it - I can see how it could get annoying after a while, but it definitely makes for a very enjoyable few minute game.

Went all out with the dragging cards, Even in the menu :P

Fun game, I thought it was a tad to hard to judge when things would pop up in the front. Good use of the theme!

We even have somewhat similar games.

The game didn't work for me outside of fullscreen. The main idea is quite fun. With more card diversity I think it could be interesting, also cards should drop more often. Good work! :)

I love the idea

As others have said, there is an issue with scaling, the menu is not visible if the game is not full screen. While I applaud the innovative menu, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to navigate, it would be much more intuitive if the whole card was used for aiming. The gameplay was pretty good, I had no issues avoiding obstacles, but I was expecting to get more cards once I ran out, instead I just crashed

Good job :trophy:

cool concept and well worked out. There could be a little more challenge in it but overall it's a good entry. Enjoyed it more then 80% of the other other games, well done.

@Tay @Pixelome Sorry, I forgot to write in the description that it's meant to be played fullscreen, that way all text is readable.

Ironically a winning combo, I definitely had fun then ran out of cards and started to panic which I found even more funny when I drove into the back of a purple car.

I took me quite some time to figure out, that I had to point at thing using the little arrow.
In the menu, I thought that the arrow was meant to tell me to drag the card upwards. But after I figured that out, I enjoyed the menu and the game :) After two rounds, the game became rather easy. Making the game faster as you progress, would make it way better, imo.

Really impressive work, your theme combination works out great! I also really like the steering wheel menu and that you basically already learn the controls in the menu. Maybe it would make more sense to place the car a bit lower on the screen? But that's details, fantastic effort!

Solid combination of ideas - you do get to a point where you literally only have no cards left to play and are just awaiting a game over or fluking into a card box, but I guess that pretty inherent to the nature of it being card based.

FYI, trying to play on Firefox gave me a "browser does'nt support web assembly" error, but it ran fine in chrome.

Really nice idea! The main menu was really fun and well-implemented.

I really liked the gameplay, too, but had difficulty determining when cars/deer etc would actually make their way into the lane. A little more tutorial might be helpful, but I'm not sure exactly how that would work.

UI was easy to use after playing around with it for a few seconds. Well done!

I kind of expected this to be turn based! Still, it's a cool concept.

Nice game! It had to try a couple times to get it right but it was fun!
It could have an indicator of distance on the objects that are coming, but it was funto play anyway!
Great job
