Some Bad Bugs don't like you stomping their territory and decided to spew blood at you! Oow the blood, it hurts. You should probably defend yourself. How do you do that, you ask? Well, there's a gun on your back, how convenient! It won't do much but is helpful against the BB crew. Collect the food from their dead lifeless bodies and continue your assault! Or errr defense.

Controls:

left mb - shoot

right mb - stand

Q - consume food to regain health

E - change controls to mouse + WASD (dont do that, the default controls are much better)

Oh and if you are afraid of insects, this game is probably not for you.

Lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/2umBRLlsy2g), if you’d like to take a look :)

Fun idea of controlling the cockroach while all other bugs are angry at you. I found it a bit hard to combine escaping shots and shooting myself, but I really liked the art-style and the setting for the game.

Pretty cool, switching between mouse and keyboard controls allowed me to rotate while on a vector and shoot as I moved away from the enemy bugs' blood bullets. Not sure you intended that, and it's not exactly _correct_ movement for bugs (spaceflight suits it better), but it's a cool mechanic.

The art looks pretty good, but the inconsistent shadows are a shame, and walking animations would have been a big plus.

Nice one!

I Liked the art style of the game, and it got entertained for a while, util I realized that the bus would respawn! So this was a futile mission and in all, so I qut the game after I killed a bunch.

The base idea is cool, I actually expected to be able to eat the fruit around the map, I don't know why, it would have been cool to be able to change the environment that way (I only realized I eas eating theri dead bodies after a while, but only because I read your instructions in the page more carefully).

And in all, a good, job, shame there was no winning screen, bu I still enjoyed your game :).

I like the visuals a lot. The eating thing seemed either buggy or to involve a mechanic that I couldn't figure out as a player. Fun little game overall :D

Very nice art!
The game feels a little uncomplete though (normal for a Ludum Dare eh ?), like poping already surrounded, or getting stuck against the environment. Smoothing those things out would have really made the game feel better in no time.
Anyway good job! :)

I ate plenty of food, but no honour and glory. It was in my little buggy heart all along.

I got pretty into taking out all the bugs but once I noticed they were respawning I wasn't compelled to continue. Maybe a win condition promising that glory for defeating all the bugs on the table? :P

The controls were kinda tricky at first but I got used to them after a couple rounds, but once you have a whole bunch of bugs after you it's super difficult to take them out. That was the cause of the majority of my deaths!

It's interesting that you lose points for eating food, which emphasizes not getting shot over running away and chowing down on some grapes. That was unexpected but a nice addition.

Lastly really interesting choice of music but I almost feel it was too chill compared to the miniature war that happening. Sort of made me feel that was distant from the action going on, as much as I enjoyed the track!

Overall I enjoyed my time scuttling about taking out the BB crew. :D

You say we should "collect food from their dead lifeless bodies", but there is no such thing in game. I think you called the "kill count" a "food count", but it is still a "kill count", as it goes up when you kill something and there is no "collecting" of anything involved. :)

It took me some time to get used to the right mouse button control of the movement, but after I got it, the game got easy. Too bad there wasn't more content.

Overall, good job! :)
