I liked the randomness and how it referenced the retro nature with inserting the cartridge. At first I did not see there was a score. Kind of want to look at the code because one game it seemed random bricks did not appear as much and the next game they appeared quite often.

Just 2 hours?? Unbelievable. Very cool idea and very good presentation, too. Make sure to support qwertz-Keyboard Layout properly, because in Germany, where i'm from, you have to stretch your fingers quite widely to reach both keys. Otherwise, great game, really impressive!

I thought it simply wasn't going to clear my lines... What you went with is so much better, really unexpected and it's still a playable game. For 2 hours work this is nuts by the way

I love Tetris personally, yet YOU managed to kill the game for me. How in the hell can I score at least one tetris in the game. You succeeded, I am extremely frustrated

The game surely lives up to its name! Prepare yourself to be relentlessly, mercilessly trolled by the RNG, as it decides to spawn a random block just where you wanted to drop your piece.

You sir, have succeeded in tetrolling me, from noit using srs, to the random blocks, to the fact that the spawn orientations is not even correct, no bag generator, and the double tap hard drop, and to make matters worse it uses 8 wide instead of ten. Good Job...



On another note, it was pretty good.

This game is just cruel, and because it's Tetris it's already an addicting game so this is just a game of being mean. :)

Evil and fun. I got 1400, and sometimes the game actually helped me. The only gripe I had was that dropping the pieces with space didn't always work. There should probably also be a clear way to try and play again

Pretty awesome. Love the boot-up intro. Great feedback with the audio and the screen shake. Pretty impressive for the amount of time you did it in!

Well executed for such little time. But then, not surprising for anyone who’s seen your other work… My only issue is that for some reason I’m used to the up arrow rotating counterclockwise, so I could not give the game my best.


@wheffle the boot-up intro is actually the standard PICO-8 boot sequence :-)

I prefer to leave no holes when playing tetris, so playing this game actually hurt :). Nice execution, especially in sound.

I agree completely. Even the rotation directions are reversed! Aggghh
