By the way: what engine/framework are you using?
Context interface was lingering a bit too much, and I feel the character could have walked faster.
I think to associate the genres a bit more, it would have been awesome to have a small card fight every time you grab a new card !
Unfortunately my adventure skills are a bit poor, but that's not the game's fault, the few enigmas I did solve were satisfying.
Overall quality is good, a solid entry :)
In all seriousness, though, Great Job! =)
The game looks quite decent in art department and ambient creates cool creepy atmosphere. Great job on this one :)
Great art! It was clearly done in a bit of a rush but the aesthetic definitely works. And the rhyming dialogue was excellent!
Also a big compliment for creating a game that can still be run on 32 bit Windows XP. I read that you used AGS, way better for deployment than Unity! :-)
I really love the feel of this game, the mood is very well designed.
There are some minor bugs, e.g. when I give the card to Urgel, it is still selected or when I click on something while looking at a book, the book does not disappear but there are all very minor things.
Unfortunately I could not solve the puzzles, I thought the thing that lets use see was either sun, sunlight, sunshine or eyes but I was wrong :-)
Overall a very great entry! Nice job, keep up the good work!
Awesome rhymes! They were all very fun to read! Nice pixel-art.
I figured out that you can right-click on a card to get a short rhyme for it, at the very end of my play-through, I'm really glad that I didn't miss out on that!
I have one question though:
What was the point of the _"Red, blue, purple or mint [...]"_ clue? I wasn't able to figure out what that clue meant.
Overall, I really enjoyed playing this game! Great entry!
!!!! SPOILER ALERT !!!!!
Those colours represent the colours of the books. Hence, "Red (book), blue (book)... one of them gives you a hint."
It's basically saying that if you check out the library it will help you with the puzzles :)
But overall pretty good. The writing is really cool.
Well done.
I couldn't exit the game once I entered tho... Maybe it's a problem on my part
Keep up the great work!
Really enjoyed hunting for cards, though I unfortunately couldn't find all of them.
Great stuff!
My only complain is that I was expecting to use the cards at some point in a fight, since it's the whole point of trading card games, so imo the theme aren't really combined, since collecting stuff is a classic in point n click.
Execept from that minor point the ambiant sound is cool and the riddle very well writen.
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.

I share the same sentiments with @tbaudon towards the use of theme, It doesn't really get expressed very clearly since it's missing any fights, which is something I actually expected at the end (and would've been a pretty damn good way to end the game too).
It is a solid adventure game overall, good work!

I hope you continue with the project.
