However I do think, that the game is broken because I only utilized the very first (to gain life and therefore levels), and the very last building (to spend life, so I don't die of old age) to reach the first place with my score of 60 levels.
A few tweaks I thought of:
* Most people probably don't know that you can change your viewport left and right and therefore can't place as many buildings.
* I also think that you currently do not inform players that upgrades are available.
* The upgrade button shouldn't be visible when you.
I also found a few bugs:
* While the turorial tells me to hover over something to see the stats, it is not showing stats while hovering. (It works fine before and after)
* The two last big houses can't be sold according to the description, but in reality I can.
* When placing the gravestone on the leftmost position, you can't upgrade the gravestone because the button is not on the screen.
* The "Quit" button on the main page is not working.
Hope you liked my feedback!
Sorry if i didn't fully understand your game.
still, good job for completing it :)
Yeah, there is definitely some balancing that we are missing because we ran out of time. I wish we were able to test more, but I'm so happy you played the game and liked the idea! We'll try to take a look into the advice you gave and see what we can do after the jam!
I'm not sure if that was clear, but I hope it helps :)
The game needs a bit more balance but liked the gameplay!
Here is my playthrough:

@lombax > Still, good job for making it to level 18 \o/ We should have detailed the tutorial a bit more and make some things more visible/intuitive. But well...game jam, haha
@sarneh > I'm glad you like the way it looks! Sorry for not having a linux version :(
@tartaud > I'm glad you enjoyed the concept and the style of the game! As for gaining or losing age with the same buildings, it depends on their color : the blue buildings make you gain age whereas the purple ones make you lose age. So each type of building has the two versions. I hope this is helpful ^^
@bakenshake > Yay, good job for making it to 2nd place!Thank you for this constructive feedback! Yes, unfortunately, we didn't put as much time as we wanted in the tutorial... And we will make sure to improve the UI after the jam :D
@icxon > I'm glad that you enjoyed the game! Thank you so much for this video, it is super useful! And we will make sure to make things more intuitive, improve the UI and tutorial after the jam. Thanks again for the video :D
The tutorial was nice but perhaps not clear enough.
The artstyle is very good for Jam (they're even better than considerable amount of the mobile games I played so a + for graphics!)
The audio was nice and I did not turned it off.
Great work!
@arqcenick > thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game :D
We wanted to put more time in the tutorial but well... Game jam ^^'
For the buildings, depending on their color, they will make you gain age (blue buildings) or lose age (purple ones). We will make sure to make that clearer after the jam :)
@denzil-gomes > Looks like you clicked many times on "publish" haha ^^ I'm glad that you liked the game. And you should be in it no matter the score you get. Thank you for your feedback!
@jsmars > thank you for your kind words. I'm happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game ^_^
@gerardb > I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you for your comment :D
@tay-elenberg > I'm glad you liked the art and the concept! :)
@tommyflower > thank you for your feedback! Yes, there are a lot of things, and we will improve the tutorial and make things clearer during the game after the jam :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
But besides that the game feels really polished and the art is also absolutely fitting. The upgrade feature is also really neat even if I would have hidden the upgrade button after the final upgrade of an object.
You also unlock all the buildings really quickly (in under 1 min) and besides the altars and the cross graves, the other buildings didn't feel that significant to me.
We will try to correct the little UI bugs, balance the game better and implement fun events after the jam :)
Thank you again for your feedback !
I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game! ^_^
The theme fits quite well with the game and the concept. The art is very nice to look at. I really like the UI-design in particular. The Menu and pause screen look very nice.
All in all, very nice entry. Good job on that!
I encountered one bug on the main menu when opening the game in fullscreen (3440 x 1440):

@awesomealliterationalliance > The leaderboard in the game only shows the top 5, but take a look at the online leaderboard here : http://mathewsherry.com/LD44/ . See, you're here \o/ I'm glad you enjoyed the game :D Thank you for your comment!
@oune > Thank you for your kind words! Oh, an unexpected bug survived here! We will correct it after the game jam. Thank you for your feedback :)
