CWF: Card Wrestling Federation by sprngr
CWF: Card Wrestling Federation takes the best of card based combat and professional wrestling; high flying action slowed down to a crawl because it is now turn based!

In this game you will face off against three opponents, each with their own preferred move type.

Control Scheme
- WASD or Arrows to move around menu options
- Spacebar to select option and skip text

Game Information
The core mechanics of the game focus around knocking out, pinning, or forcing your opponent to submit by using various wrestling moves.
- Attacks are a basic move with the lowest damage and highest rate of success.
- Throws are stronger, but due to the nature of needing to be able to grab your opponent there is less accuracy.
- Holds are stronger than normal attacks and have the chance to force the target to tap out and end the match.
- Aerial attacks are the strongest, but due to the risky maneuvers of sailing through the air you risk missing and hurting yourself in the process.
When two wrestlers use the same type of move, they clash and take a bit of damage but neither of their moves are performed.
Tip: Your opponents color corresponds to their preferred move type.
Known Bugs
- You'll sometimes draw duplicate move cards, I focused on the rest of the game over deduping the draws

I feel there is probably a lot of stuff I should have outlined in the game description like the approach I took to move priority & additional effects. The clashing thing was because both players used the same kind of move, I colored the enemy to indicate their preference which was kind of hinted at on the challenger screen. There is an accuracy rating on each card, aerial moves especially have the lowest accuracy so that's probably why they felt a bit random. As for the submission holds, that was broken up until about an hour before submission. Afterward I discovered it using the same formula for pinning made it a tad more broken, especially with the blue fighter.
There is definitely a lot more I would liked to have done with this, expanded narrative included.
Overall, I like it!

I just wish there were mouse controls, at first - as every good player - I didn't read the how to play and started to click like a maniac.
Congratulations!!
