Fun gameplay! Satisfying once you figure out combat. I think it was knowing which keys to press for each enemy? Some keys would block a hit some wouldn't? Either way pretty cool, couldn't make it past the meat skull guy. Great audio although I would have loved some hit or block noises in combat for some feedback. Good work!

Really cool gameplay, great mood in the art and music. Found it pretty difficult honestly! Swiping in the opposite direction really messes with your brain. I guess that's what makes it such good design!

Wow! Fight system is incredible, audio is nice but strong..
Nothing to say on graphics, it was fun to play this game really!
But could be more improved on the theme!
Keep the good work!

I think your controls need to be properly introduced in the game, as it's not completely clear what to do without reading your description. I like the combat, just takes getting used to. Artwork is nice too! Being able to combat fluidly takes a bit of time and I wasn't really sure how to combo effectively (what worked against one enemy was different to another). So yeah if you improve how to teach your mechanics then it'd be pretty solid!

The audio is nice, and I like the art, idea is pretty good, I the dialogues and the story follow-through are surely a great part - well done.
However, not to lie this lack implementation and game feel, yes the time pushes and I'm sure with more time this would have been at a much greater level, as you know practice makes perfect.

I went through tutorial and read the description but combat was still unclear and unresponsive what exactly the combat does. You should put more time into animations as well, but overall a good try!

Edit: Were you working alone by the way?

Brilliant! Love the graphics which manage to be both horribly gorey and delightfully cute at the same time. The dialogue is great and I love the design of the meat chunks/tumours/other ghastly things.
I also think it's great that there was a tutorial to show how the combat works. I did find it very difficult though as the tutorial didn't show all the directions you can strike from and often ended up hitting the wrong key by mistake as they're so close together. But with practice i'm sure I could get better and the game is really fun so I'm happy to keep trying!

The battle system is very interesting. It could use a little polish, but still, I really liked it! Aside from the obvious things (more polish, balance, etc.) this is a pretty neat entry. Very good concept and I'd love to see more of something like this!

Fun game. Mechanically it reminded me of Karateka. I would have enjoyed some audio fx for those slashes.

I found this game very funny, also music was amazing! It was both fun and brutal, I loved the dialogue between player character and the enemies. :meat_on_bone:

Really clever idea. Combat kind of reminded me of 'Severed'. Controls could have been more responsive and telegraphing attacks could have been clearer. Good job!

This is superb. It's kinda super gross but I think that fits the theme super well- great work! :0
