um.....that was strange to say the least. Cool looking. Guess i should of read the controls first. the best part was binary delete in the game.

WOW. This is the most unique thing I've played in a while. The atmosphere was off the charts in this. I didn't look at the controls listed here ahead of time, but figured a few out as I played. I honestly think that made the experience better? When I hit 's' it switched which Dino I was controlling / following, not sure if that was intentional but it was cool. It also kept saying 100% for me, and I think if that is the health it could be cleaned up to fit aesthetically with the rest of the game. Overall great job, I was truly drawn into this, it was like playing a game conceived by David Lynch.

"Does the game close when you're dying or is it a bug?"

I apparently pressed Q, whoops.

ANYWAY, that was.. Different. I got pretty excited with the intro and everything, then read the disclaimer and went all "oh God". It was a pretty "Oh God" moment even though religious people sometimes debunk dinosaurs ;)

It looked very cool, the music was great, but of course there was not that much gameplay. I must say this is probably the first game that was not in Game Maker, Unity or Unreal, so hats off for that.

I don't really know what to say, but good job I suppose!

This is definitely unique piece of the art-house in world of games. Didn't see something even closely similar... Good job, keep it up :3

Impressive production values. This one definitely felt bigger than a game jam. I especially liked the fuzzy player dino and obvious madness happening to my brain. It made me feel like I was a strange creature trying to figure out my own confusing life... like what dinosaurs must have experienced.

I probably missed either the objective, or didn't learn enough strategies, but the game kept crashing when I spam-clicked on the larger green guys, thinking I was maybe attacking them.

It was rewarding to grab a little dude and then realize I could chow it down with a right click.

I'd like to see this game with some more polish and progression, down the road!

Got an error on startup and crashed when I died. The intro was really long but it was really cool. Great job with graphics and audio. Gameplay-wise I wasn't sure what the objective was.

Firstly : Downloaded 500+mb and got this:
![bug1.jpg](///raw/cfb/11/z/141d6.jpg)
(Win10 x64)

Secondly: managed to start: nice intro - cool

Thirdly: gameplay - buggy controls and not clear the purpose of eating - roaring restores the health up to 100%. Nice sound though.

Lastly: crashed

Wow I just looked at your backlog of previous entries and i have to ask: How many times have you remade this game?!? It feels like you've got something much bigger in mind. Some day i'd love to see it fully realized.

I loved the aesthetics, the game looks awesome and the sound design really brings something to the table... Not to mention the amazing intro !

On the gameplay side, there is certainly potential in your formula, which is a bit reminiscent of Tokyo Jungle. I would just add some form of tutorial and add a big layer of polish so that it clicks more immediately ! Great job though, there is a truly apocalyptic mood in your game, and you've got yourself a nice base to build upon.

This is an odd game experience! Was it even a game or an simulator? The first time I played I lost health, but after looking up the controls, I always had 100% health! Roar didn't seem to do much! It looks realy cool, but my hunger for objectives was not satisfied!

Not sure what was going on or what to interact with. The voice over kept restarting the same couple of phrases.

Interesting game, I don't think I understood what you are trying to do but I liked the intro. The atmosphere is very cool and depressing, playing as a dino mindlessly killing other dinos to a hopeless future. Wish I understood the voice over and the whole thing more.

Men betting on sea gulls ey? Haha. Interesting fusion of genres, quality graphics and sound work. Gameplay needs to have more well-defined objectives and perhaps a win condition.

Well that sure was... something! I like the atmosphere, but it was hard to tell what was an intentional part of the experience and what was a bug - for example, after I died (I think I died anyway?) the first time, the camera got unlocked from the character and I could sort of control it but couldn't really tell what was going on. This happened very early on in subsequent playthroughs (maybe because I skipped through the intro?) In any case, I feel like abstract games like this need to clearly establish the operating parameters of how the player interacts with the environment and then go from there, otherwise it's just a bewildering experience. (Unless what I experienced was just bugs, or even if that's the whole point - understandable!) Anyway it was an interesting experience, I really appreciate seeing this type of weirder stuff in LD. Keep it up!

The aesthetic is great! I think *any* guidance at all would have made this game much more accessible, however. Nothing was explained in game and it just kind of left me in the dark and disconnected. I feel like there's tons of potential here though! Nice work

The visuals are fantastic! The sound design (particularly the 'empty' sound in the background) makes the mood perfect! That said, I wasn't exactly sure what to do with the game. I played as a t rex for a while, and killed some dinos for a while. The lack of an objective added to the experience in a way. It made it feel more animalistic, like I was a mindless killing machine just looking to eat.
Great job!

Both the cutscene visuals and in-game visuals were really nice and atmospheric. The audio also helps set the mood of the environment. The controls/objectives could be a little bit more clear.

Okay...what a great intro, deep athmosphere, great sound!!! But the game itself, I did't get what the point is, feels clunky, but it's delicious for the sins, great job!!

I... really have no idea what is going on here, and thus can't comment on anything gameplay-wise. However! Audiovisual presentation was stunning, mood was incredible, and I can't say I didn't have fun running around, devouring everything that moved and pooping. I might have to try this again, later at night, with some refreshments at hand.

Neat concept. I'm not sure I fully get how to play, but the visuals are nice! What does TBFTW stand for?

Playing this was a stunning experience. Espacially the intro atmosphere and sounds felt like they were from an AAA game. I did'nt quite got the hang out of the gamepaly though i could move and see other dinosaurs but somehow my health stayed at 100% so I had no idea what to do. Only thign to critize is the flashing UI. (The health number does disapear and reapear ver fast which helps the atmosphere but it feels unconfortable to look at)

I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.

I hope you continue with the project.

Really cool concept! im not sure about what was going on, but i think that it was your intention with it...? maybe raw violence as a beast that keeps following its incstints even when the final end is so nearby.

Another thing that i didnt get... when i loose all my percentage a message was shown "The death is not the end" or something like that.. i hoped that something happened afterwards... but even after dying 4/5 times it was all the same...

Anyways! cool concept, cool experience ! keep going ! :)

It looks nice, but can't be rated on graphics. Oh well. You can switch the dinosaurs with some keys on the keyboard. I have no idea what this even is. But it looks nice.

Good aesthetic and visuals, really impressive! As others have said I found it hard to figure out what I was supposed to do, I get that I am a dinosaur and have to eat to survive but is there something else I am supposed to do? I also noticed that you show the creatures names on hover which is a good way to throw some educational info into the game, nice! I noticed there was a voice in the background but I couldn't quite make out what it was saying, what was the thought behind it? The controlls where also a bit weird as the avatar sometimes moved when I hadn't given any input.

Overall I would say this is a very polished game that could benefit from some sense of direction, or rather some kind of objective for the player to strive towards. Other than that, well done!

the jam version is pretty buggy such as the file pointing error mentioned above and the trex wasn't even showing for me. It seemed like I was able to select other animals and sort of move them but I wasn't exactly sure what was going on. Graphics are looking great but a little cluttered and really blurry. The sounds are great so far as well. Great job
