Ever wanted to slap your friends with a fish? Well now you can! Catch a fish and then bring it along with you to the pier to slap your friends with it. Slap them off and you’ll be king of the pier!

Note: This game is best played with a controller and with 3 other friends! It will require at least one other person to play the brawl with (this WILL require 2 controllers to be used as there is no keyboard+controller co-op!!)!

Is it just me, or is it 500mb big? because if so your gonna have a hard time finding people to play your game :3

@PsilocybeGames Glad you enjoyed it :D
@BlueMirror Yep it is hahaha, we are currently looking into how me can make it a little smaller :P

Took a while to download and play, but once I got it up and running, I found it really fun to play. The procedural physics is always a winner when it's done well... and you've certainly done it well here!

Hey! Managed to get my neigbourgs to play with me, and it was really cool! I always love couch game experiments during Jams!

The game feels nice!
The fishing part is simpler than expected, there is no real challenge or interaction with other players, but it's still beautiful and a great intro for the fight.

And the fight part is pretty cool!

The lack of feedback (audio or visual other than animations) when you do an attack make the game just a little confusing, like I was note sure if I was really trying to hit my opponent.
And sometimes we were not sure if we were ejected or just sent in the air vertically!

But overall that was fun!

Would love to see more fish and more scene, seeing the minigame prototype make me feels like the game can be extended to something really awesome!

Cool entry, looking forward a post-jam version, if any! :)

@BlueMirror You were absolutely right, it was quite big (last minute building and uploading left quite a few unused assets in the build), thanks for bringing it to our attention! We managed to reduce the file size by 200+ MB (!!!) in the new version! A way more manageable file size don't you agree? If the file size was holding you back from trying, we hope you will give it a try now!

Once again thank you and have an awesome day!

@Darby Costello Absolutely and what better object to simulate physics with than with fishes, right!? Thanks for checking out our game, we're glad you enjoyed it!

@Stending Awesome to hear you had a good time with your neighbours! We had some more fish planned and were even planning on giving each fish their own characteristics (fish-teristics!) and traits, but you know how it is with gamejams, thankfully it's still fun without them! Thanks for checking out the game and playing it the way it's best played!

@Coding-Ape Awesome to hear you liked it! Maybe if the guys are up for it we could try adding some more fish and maps (or more things), would be fun to do, but first it's time for some rest.

Hey fellow NHTV students! What are the odds of us finding your game? Haha. Greets from Sun Parlor Studios aka Riko and Daniel. Was hoping of a little better of a game from you guys, but me and Daniel had some fun playing the game still. :)

Haha, I love this! You catch fish and then hit your friends with the fish. Nothing else needs to be said.

This was hilarious. I've never been happier to have a buddy and a couple controllers. One complaint I have though is that the physics are a little unstable and the sound effects can't really be heard at all. I also wasn't sure what to do with minigames so we just fought with a different camera angle. Nice work!

Hey @morrilet, thanks for checking out our game! The "minigames" level is really just something a programmer quickly made to mess around in with the fish physics, we figured we just left it in so people can hit something other than other people if they wanted to.

The physics are indeed a little unstable, some things don't really feel as nice as they should, it would require some tweaking, but sadly none of us have time right now to do that. Maybe we'll find some time within the coming days to do some balancing, but right now we first have a major milestone coming up and we'll have to focus on that.

Once more, thank you very much for checking it out, I'm glad you enjoyed our silly little game!

I like your conception of PvE. And it's look fun. You can extend weapons arsenal without limitation :) if you like PvE games you can check my implementation of classic "King of the Hill" https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/the-king-of-the-hill

The tiny fish screams were the best thing to ever happen to me. The Wilhelms were a little too loud and it hurt.

Looks like a pretty fun game but making it accessible to groups of 2~4 people each with their controller only was pretty risky... I have an old PC and it wouldn't work correctly so I couldn't quite test it... that being said the face you had time to make a mini-game in there is really impressive ^^#
