A Merciful God by mechanicallife
This is a garbage game we somehow threw together...
You take the role as god over an unsuspecting planet. You must collect souls through sacrificing humans for the greater good. With the souls you collect you can guide the humans on their path towards civilization.
Or...
You are the One and Mighty, the Alpha and Omega. Your pesky mortal servants keep sinning against Your will and they must be purged to fuel the development of the Greater Good, i.e. You.
Controls Use the mouse to spin the world and use abilities. On the left is star-atlas button, were you can upgrade the world. On the right are the abilities you can use to kill off the humans.

This is a solid foundation for an interesting god game, but in the current state it doesn't work that well. The beginning was the most interesting part, figuring out what exactly is going on. It quickly spirals out of control with a massive population and being able to afford everything (did anything do something else than increase population growth? if so, it was not understandable). Some of the upgrade texts are cut off. The visuals are actually quite nice, although at first I didn't get where there are humans on the planet. Thanks btw for the mute button, the "music" was funny at first but got a little annoying quickly. Overall, if you add more content and polish, I could very well see this becoming quite the interesting and different game!

It's a good game. The music is definitely unique, but fun :D A little description, what the abilities do would be nice for first time players, but after a bit of trial and error, I figured out what it does. Good job!
