Cool story, a lot of fun dialouge and funny characters.

Love the graphics, very cute. The music is pretty good too, though it seems to randomly stop at times, maybe you forgot to set it to loop?

At the default graphic settings, fastets, my gpu usage was over 70%, so there might be something funny in the settings there, it was running fine when I chose the highest quality settings. You should be aware that the lowest quality settings can sometimes cause very high cpu/gpu usage, for example if vsync isnt enabled the fps is not limited. In Unity you can edit this in Edit->Project Settings->Quality.

@Avon Thanks for the feedback! I've pushed out a new patch that should fix the quality and audio problems.

I like how the story, while simple, has a good moral and a heartwarming ending. The art style is rather cute as well.

A lovely little game, with a nice little meaning behind it. I really liked your art style,
and the way you dealt with dialogue. It was presented very cleanly.

I did end up going "Nooo ANgela! Nuuuu" come back!

Was a bit thrown back at the characters first interaction with Ruth
but liked the little flip around about true friendship being work, and not just barging into peoples
homes and going "You're my friend!"

Thank you for this experiance, and good job! :D

Nice graphics and concept! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/KYlBGlHp4vY), if you’d like to take a look :)

I loved the whole story all the way through, and parts of it had me laughing. [POTENTIAL SPOILERS] I love the subtlety of what is happening to Angie, you notice it but the characters don't say anything right away, it's details like that that really grab me in a story. I loved the ending too, I was actually mad at the main character at the end like - hey, you forgot one!

The music was great as well, and the character sprites were really cute and emotive (loved the depth in the eyes). Really awesome job, all around - I enjoyed every moment of it.

A lovely little game, cute story and characters! Now... I feel we should all stop playing video games and go out to make new friends around! :)

Nice game and very well written. Thanks for the experience!
Only the movement felt a little slow.

A lovely story that is just the right length. I like how it critiques our modern obsession with friend count.

Also, the sheet music :smile_cat:

Good story, good game. The characters are nice. The main character is like me.

Liked the story and mood. Shame it was too short, and kinda was without any effort to beat the game. But I believe it was all because of LD time pressure. Anyway, as a huge adventure games fan the story and dialog is most important to me, and I really enjoyed :) Good job.

Sweet game, liked the music. Nice writing and pixel art, a little more interaction would have been good but was still a fun experience. As already said the main character movement is a little slow.

I really loved that game... really nice writing! Almost crying at the end! The experience was very good and the moral of the story at the end... very important! You made an amazing job, really! :)

awesome art and overall style. Resembles me Earthbound and other SNES classics.

This was very well done, I like it quite a bit. Obviously several people have commented on the slow movement, but other than that I really have no complaints.

<3 Angie.

Haven't played a lot games with story. So this was refreshing and really cool. Also the art style is very appealing to me. Overall only good things to tell about this :)

Hi, there, Hayden! Congratulations on your game. It feels very honest and I liked the aesthetic. You really made those happy eyes alive with only a few pixels. Although, your game is already complete, maybe you could expand the adventures of these likeable characters and make something longer, with other mechanics involved. It's a great start. Nice!

What a heartwarming story. Unfortunate that the imaginary friend went away though, I liked her. The art is nice, music feels maybe a bit too cheery compared to the rest of the game, but overall, an enjoyable experience.

I really enjoyed this! It's a very complete experience. The writing is great and the art style really grew on me as well. Particularly enjoyed the sequence with Uriel.

Nice! A solid, complete, well-presented story. I would have liked to see more interaction with the characters, rather than linear conversations, but overall, it was really quite well done. I enjoyed it.

I always find 1 or 2 games every Ludum Dare that offer a really nice narrative experience, and this is definitely a good one! I really connected with the story and thought the ending was great. The character designs were nice too, really glad I got to play this one
