Well...

Here it is, the Platformer Board Game-- PlatBoarder. I know, that's a hodinkey title right there. I thought I was going to drop out of Ludum Dare, because I lost a day due to some work I had to take over the weekend, and about 12 hours because I just couldn't figure out several ways that Godot does things. But, I pushed through for what I could and created a bug riddled game that, given more time, I may have been able to make better than I did. :D

I don't know if the Mac or Linux builds will work or not, since I don't have access to Mac or Linux, so good luck! :D

Anyway, have fun, and I look forward to trying as many games as I can over the next couple weeks! :D

Caveats: There is a bug that causes the collected cards to go 'black'. It works when I run it in the editor, but the card is black when exported, I couldn't find a way to fix it.

There's also a bug where, sometimes, the dice will disappear, but it'll sometimes still work. :)

Oh man, it was heartbreaking to fall into a hole due to a "bad" roll. :)

I also design tabletop games as a hobby, so this was a special treat. Well done!

It started.. and I wondered where was the platformer mechancis! but I enjoyed that they were incorporated into the board game, and the visuals and coins etc definitely tied the board game with the platformer genre. I felt it was a little too RNG based, but then aren't most board games! The cards helped reduce this RNG dependency, but there weren't enough cards perhaps. Good work, really glad you still submitted despite your challenging circumstances!

Really cool! I actually really enjoyed the uplifting music and chill gameplay! Very cool idea for the theme. Good job.
