This is my 12th Ludum Dare. :D

Game Details

This is a Two-Player game! It's also GAMEPAD SUPPORTED.

This game is like Breakout meets Super Smash Bros. but with no combat.

Break-In is an action packed competitive multiplayer game where your goal is to be the last person standing. Don't fall into the pit of nothingness! D: Launch balls to break the bricks your opponent is standing on!

Little Secret: The paddle down below is very bouncy.

Instructions

Player 1 (Green) uses A & D to move, W to jump, and S to launch balls.

Player 2 (Pink) uses the left and right arrow keys to move, the up arrow key to jump, and the down arrow key to launch balls.

If you have Gamepads (like Xbox Controllers) you can use the left stick to move, A to jump, X to launch balls, and START to navigate through menus!

Very clever idea! Pretty fun too. The balls are a bit hard to aim though, since they don't seem to keep the same angle with every shot! Also, I liked the idea of breaking blocks by hitting your head on them, but sometimes that caused me to just fall through blocks after I land (which often leads to instant death).

The graphics are simple too but worked pretty well. Very solid game! Now waiting for a 4-player version for parties. =D
