Tristakto by ghostmaple
Think you like fit-a-block games? Or maybe lining up those blocks into neat little lines of 5 is more your style? Well, Tristakto is for you!
Tristakto is a game for one or two players where you place oddly shaped pieces to make five-in-a-row of a single color. But watch out - fill up an entire horizontal row of blocks and poof they're gone, along with your current strategy!

I would recommend clearing completed vertical lines, too.
Also, it's not too challenging once you understand how to play... Maybe add a third color to make it more difficult to line up 5. Or, combine with the rules of Go to enable changing the colors? It seems like there are many possibilities here. Lots of directions you could take.
The idea works well but it might need to be adjusted with maybe a bigger playing field, or more shapes with different amount off color and not just 50/100! As mentioned before it would be nice if you could see with blocks you're trying to place and which block is already placed with maybe some highlight around your current block shape. Simple and good, I like it!
I hope you continue with the project.
