A nice short game, unfortunately I am too bad to ever see what upgrades to my sword or shield do. But this could be a really fun concept if it was turned into multiplayer. Good Job!

I like how the blood drops don't clean up after you die/restart. After a few tries this left quite a mess :)
Agree that this would be a fun multiplayer (browser)game for some quick sword-fights.

I found myself eagerly anticipating my next attack due to how the screen shook with every stab. The blood spatters sticking around was a nice touch. I think one easy way to make it a bit more exciting would be to increase the walk speed of characters. Good work!

Awesome game, really liked the whole blood as currency type of deal, but would have loved if we would have had another mechanic to make it more interesting. But keep up the good work :D

Fun game! My character unfortunately stopped participating in the fights after 3rd or 4th round for some reason, it just stayed there even though my health/stamina were full. Opponent was slashing away at me, I could see the blood splatters, but the health bar wasn't going down.

Apart from that bug, the game was actually fun to play! A 2 player local co-op mode would have been a fun addition as well :D

It really reminds me of a combination nidhogg and boxhead ^^ It's a fun and short game. I would also love to see what the upgrades do.
