Loot Ninja by Hudston
Perhaps using my first LD as an excuse to make my first game wasn't the smartest idea, but it's something!
Control the player with WASD trying to keep your treasure balanced above your head. The more loot you collect, the more points you'll score but the harder it will be to balance!
I would have liked to have more in the way of graphics, as much as I like having a basic capsule as a protagonist, and the balancing mechanic isn't as (heh) balanced as I would like. The difficulty curve that increases the more loot you have (i.e. the most important part...) isn't anywhere near as pronounced as I'd like and it can even be difficult to move with no coins at all which seems really counter intuitive. Nothing I can't add later if I feel like coming back to it, I'm honestly just surprised I have anything playable at all to submit.
Still, this was great fun and I can't wait to see how far I get next time!

I totally agree about the difficulty. I must have spent easily half of the development time fiddling with the way the balancing worked and I ultimately had to just call it done so I had time to add the rest of the gameplay in. I plan to revisit it at some point, I at least want to drastically reduce the difficulty whilst the chest is empty.
