Hammed Robbery by YouBeStrong

Summary
Porkipig was far from happy when his owner stopped feeding him the occasional coins. To survive, he has no choice to find a better source of currency. Hammed Robbery is stealth game revolving around a piggy bank stealing from an actual bank.
I love how the audio turned out but almost all our audios are from Freesounds so we've opted out of that category, we will update with appropriate credits soon!

The digestion feature is fucking genius and I absolutely love the animation. Feels like Toy Story or something. Amazing job here
@jake-white I actually thought about how it would have fit the LD40 theme when we started making it! Since it's the only other Ludum Dare jam I managed to finish haha. Nice work on LD40 btw! I just tried it out and it was fun! Definitely a fun mechanic ;)
Actually the idea of getting more detectable with the coins you get is really interesting : D I would imagine a game like that with a scoring / speedrun incentive
Great job : D
With a better camera system, and a way to use the coins, I could see this as a legit game I'd play. Great job!
I think you could have done a better job of conveying the different tradeoffs in traversal? I wasn't sure what holding space did to my detection radius or if there was a way to collect all the coins in a level without getting caught.
@dennis-jeong There could definitely have been a level that used the space bar power more. Essentially it reduces the radius of the sound you generate (it doesn't eliminate it completely) at the cost of depleting (digesting) your coin amount faster. As for the trade off, that was greed / high score related. We wanted to let the player go through the level easily if they wanted to or a LOT harder if they wanted to get a good score. Thanks again for playing! :)
I loved the visuals and the theming of the game. The hammers with ears got me laughing out loud. Very well done!

And I didn't even play it. Saw a demo via a friend and I was immediately hooked by the concept.
Great job!

One bug: the hammers might go through the outer wall when they are chasing you (happened on 2nd level).
