Music was rad, wish I had the options for powerups sooner.

Music was awesome, love dynamic systems that adjust to the way you play. Tight controls with a a fun but fair difficulty curve.
SOLID SUBMISSION!
KEEP WORKING ON IT!

Such a beautiful game! It fits the theme perfectly, I really like the way you implemented it. And the art, the music, the gameplay...everything is great!
Good job \o/

Awesome game! It really feels complete and playable.

Couple tweaks I would make:
* Lower the bg music a bit and maybe add some variation
* Tighten up the cat's hitbox for platforming, sometimes I was falling and I didn't understand why
* I couldn't make it through the first level, it just got to hard at one point and felt impossible (three slide-y things moving in different directions with limited vision meant I just died there every time)

I really liked the power ups. It might be cool to introduce them in the levels for moments like that spot I was stuck on -- otherwise it means you have to choose your power ups just to overcome specific obstacles, rather than having a more dynamic choice of which one you want to carry.

I did also get into a little flow-state trying to speed run while playing with a game pad. When the platforming worked, it felt really good.

Great job overall!

@moldymagnet Thanks for the feedback! In regards to the background music, there should actually be quite a bit of variety. Each upgrade you purchase adds an extra instrument track to it (although it picks 3 of them randomly if you buy more than 3 upgrades, otherwise it would sound cluttered). The platform detection is a little weird because I coded it from scratch (the built-in system for it in Unity gave me problems). I thought I got most of the bugs out of it, but there are still a few lurking around.

Really cool game! Some of the platforming controls are a little buggy, mainly with when you can and can't jump. But the upgrade system is really cool. I'd like to try replaying it with different upgrades (I went with double jump, high jump, and light) Once I realized the background music changed with upgrades, I really dug it, too. And thanks for tuning into the stream!

This is cool! I like the dynamic music, and how you can really customize your difficulty. Jumping felt sluggish sometimes though; I think buffered jump inputs would really help the sense of control.

Nice work!

I saw this game on a Twitch stream and it made me want to try it. The powerup system looked cool but I actually managed to beat it on my first run without powerups! It probably helped that I knew some of the level design from the stream. I also really liked the dynamic music system. Great job!

Pretty cool. There are some problems with the physics--for example if you fall from a high distance you will go through the floor. It would be nice if there were more sound effects. The music is a bit repetitive but I appreciate the effort of adding/removing layers in the music based on game events. I liked the ending with the ball of yarn.

Super cute. I love the idea of getting a cat out of hell lol. I'm not super great at platformers but it felt alright. The music was great. We had talked about how the music kind of layers on itself with each power up. That was pretty clever. Great job!

Thanks for hanging out on the stream, as well. Here's the [link to the stream](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/420903849). Your game should start around [24:27].
