OpFern Class by ghost-in-the-toast

Gameplay: OpFern Class is a fast paced, arcade style shoot-em-up set in the distant future. This game was created in three days using Game Maker Studio 2.
Plot: We are the members of the air-to-space specialist group known as the "OpFern Class". Our mission is to track and locate the alien mother ship known as the Dreadnought. Using our new warp drive technology, our mission objective should be easier to accomplish. Even though I knew everyone wouldn't make it, I didn't think it would be like this.
Post patch notes: Just some minor bug fixes. Credits actually roll now without the game crashing. No improvements other than that.
Controls (Keyboard/Controller): Fly Ship: Arrow Keys/D-pad Fire Weapon: Z Key/X(PlayStation) & A(Xbox) Change Pilot: C Key/Square(PlayStation & X(Xbox)
Ghosts in the Toast: Avery Ruth (Programmer/Pixel Art), Mary Fellner (Traditional Artist), Michael Gaskins (Guitarist/Pixel Art) and Tyler Byers (Producer/Composer)

The different classes and the ability to freely swap would probably be my favorite bit.
Unfortunately, my game froze up when I started lvl 4. Which, I'll be honest, I can't tell if that's on purpose or not.
Either way, amazing job!
I was not able to finish the game due to a freeze during level 4 right after the boss appeared and the music started. It seemed to flash back to the start of the first level (not sure if intentional), then froze. Despite this it is a very good submission. Nice work!
Well done!
Very well polished, well done.
also the Enemy Designe was verry good. Those sideways shooter things that don't go away until you kill them oooh man they were soo annoying but in a good way xD
I would probably tweak the restarting thing tho, as restarting from scratch upon death was very demotivating. Maybe make the player restart the level instead of the whole game? I also wasn't sure about the score (???) thing at the top left. It seemed to have no relation to the game, and even went into the negatives? I thought that maybe it was a distance to boss, but didn't seem to be. Otherwise, an outstanding game, the music creates a groovy atmosphere!
Sweet entry, very well done!
