My Second Ludum Dare, and first completed game :D. In Cushion Catastrophe, you are an exploring kitten on the lookout for fish. However, the more you eat, the more energy you have and the faster you will go. See how many fish you can eat. This should work on touchscreen devices as well. Have Fun!

The game sometimes places those platforms to places that cannot be reached (i.e. the previous platform is in the bottom of the screen, but the next one is in the top of the screen, so it's impossible to jump there).

I wish that the music kept playing, and didn't restart when you reset the level.

Yeah, the procedural generation needs a bit of care in games like this or else giving players an impossible jump makes them really sad. Otherwise, cool concept, just very bland on execution.

I wish the music didn't repeat that same bar over and over? I noticed that you do have a longer loop, but that main bar kept going again and again. A little variety there would have gone a very long way.

fun lil cat game! definitely could be a little more connected to the theme though

I liked the concept, but the level generator spawns fish and cushions that are unreachable.

The cat is cute and the idea is good, but it's frustrating when it's unclear where I should jump... Very tempting to play just one more round when it restarts, even though I never get very far.

Making a game, especially one from scratch and by yourself, is not easy so well done on getting the project completed. The aesthetics have this vibe of like Yoshi's Epic Yarn making it cute. :) Keep at it, you've done what most only dream about, you made a finished game!
