Capital Hell is a satirical bullet hell that gets more difficult as more enemies are destroyed.

The game is over when you reach the dancing section. Total playtime is approximately 5 minutes.

Please note that, while every asset in the game was found and modified by me over the past 3 days, many of them originally came from creators significantly more talented than myself. I have simply edited and repurposed them to execute on my desired aesthetic.

Hahah totally not what I expected xD
I'll try not to spoil anything, but the game certainly has a lot of humor. Very innovative. The gameplay is not that special tbh, but the creative enemies and boss certainly made it fun to play. Great entry!

Hahaha, more than a game, a transcendental experience into modern America. Good job.

Certainly an interesting game, though not particularly fun to actually play as a traditional game due to the inherent nature of the game. Won't spoil anything for anyone else, but I do consider it pretty solid as a whole.

In the beginning I didn't understand how this game tied into the theme. But it was abundantly clear at the end. Nice work :)

Incredible game, I loved it. Again, won't spoil it for others but I would highly recommend it - in fact, I did recommend it to my friend. Great work!

VERY funny. There doesn't seem to be a fail state, which would make the game a lot harder

As a "game" it wasn't that exciting, but as a whole "experience" it was really nice and fun!

Ahhh kamrat Marx! Do tha tango! You totally nailed the theme, was hard to shoot those pesky commies with all my cash blocking my sight, but then again, it's always nice to keep it down and real with the Burn! Great social commentary! Cheerz!

interesting take on the theme, also one of the few games to get me to play a second time

Nice quotes! would have been nice to see the gameplay be even more subversive, though the metagame can be hard to design for. Good job!

Unlike anything I have played in any Ludum Dare. Perfect use of different assets to make for a very interesting but humoristic experience.

What's interesting is that the first thought I had was to start shooting people with my projectiles, but why? Probably, because that's what games are about. However, the second time I did nothing and I "won". Very interesting interpretation of the theme.

I was going to complain about all the money covering your screen but now after I played the game the second time, it made sense. Great job!
