Also, visual and aural feedback for when spices are selected and added to the soup would make it easier to play.  It is odd that spices decay so quickly and you end up putting a metric ton of spices into the soups.\n\nP.S. Not because the game was difficult to understand, but just so that I could jump into doing the main game right instead of failing a lot first.\n\nOnly suggestion I can really make might be to add a little bit more variation. Once I had the timing down, and a strategy for ordering, it was pretty hard to make a mistake. Having different recipes that have unique decreasing velocities for the ingredients would help prevent players from getting TOO comfortable. I agree with others, if you have hot keys it would make things a lot better.
