Paintsmack! Combat painting with Ross Bob. NOW WITH CREATIVE MODE!

Grab your paint and tap "A" to do happy little brushes against the canvas. Do your best to finish the painting before all the happy little critters steal away with your paint or the time runs out. Take a picture of your masterpiece afterwards and share it with the world!

Version update: I added a "Creative Mode" to the game which allows for unlimited paint and time. All the rest has stayed the same as the original version. Happy painting =)

I feel like I've been waiting for this game my whole life. Combat plus painting equals Double Therapy! I suppose a little better control wouldn't go amiss... though I doubt it would improve my terrible painting skills! Really awesome use of the theme and some nice little touches. Great work!

Very unique experience. Great use of the theme.
The controls could use some fine tuning and I'm not sure what the red pen-like drawing on the canvas is about.
Other than that a great little piece!

I love the premise, and Bob Ross in the background. The animals got RIDICULOUSLY out of hand a few paintings in. Even without any proper gameplay or win/lose condition to it, I only dearly wish that I could make full strokes by holding down the button. As it was, I had a desperately difficult time filling up enough of the canvas with color to to make something sort of lake-like.
I hope you polish this up! I love the idea of being harassed while painting, and I think I enjoy that you're the only judge of how good a painting you made.

If you like the painting and hate the timer, you can complete the first level quickly by painting randomly on it and then just not click next level. You'll be able to paint to your heart's content =)

This was cute, and a weird mash-up (and therefore a great entry considering the theme). I appreciate that in the spirit of Ross Bob, aside from running out of time, there was no real pressure or threat, and the animals were cute! I had fun with the splatter painting with the inspiring voice of good ol' Ross making sure my pictures were full of joy and cheerful tiny trees. The music fit the game well, and I appreciate that it wasn't super long, which is perfect for a ludum dare entry! Awesome job!

Cool game, I wish I could control my paint sqaures a bit better, but it was overall pretty fun. The music fit well with the game.

Very creative! I'm a big fan of Bob Ross and painting in general so this entry really stuck out to me. It would have been nice to have seen some elements of Bob Ross' style in the artwork, but I suppose that isn't what you were putting your energy into.
One nit-pick is that I wish the canvas had been white to start with, and that you could have used maybe a set of colors that come from the painting instead of just random ones that didn't quite work.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Very good idea and well executed! A bit buggy sometimes - when trying to hold the paint and press A, it would sometimes drop, but overall, really well done!

This is a very creative and very silly idea. Super buggy physics with the paint cubes, but I guess what can you do in just a few days? Would be great with a controls overhaul. Once I realized I could pop the animals to prevent them from running away with my paint, I realized there was this whole time-management/whack-a-mole thing going on. Very clever. Sometimes, though, the physics would bug out and my paints would fly all over the place!

Well, nice entry. Cool soundtrack.

Suggestions for improvement:
- It seams to me that controls should be improved greatly.
- Introduce tool for filling in the large area with certain color.

P.S. How about removing red cubes from the game and throwing all those little cuties onto the canvas and watching how the color of their guts add to my masterpiece? Oh, did I said that out loud?

@MaxKlimenok The original idea was to throw ragdolls at the screen and have them paint according to the parts that hit, so you're not too far from the original concept =)

Funny game and relaxing music, was not expecting this at all. It was a nice surprise going into this game :smile:

If you want to keep updating on it you can add more tools and polish the controls.

Very chill game. I like the way you combined the two themes and the music was perfect for the mood. Nicer controls would really help. I really wisH I could change the size of the paint brush
