I like this. It's a simple little game but it was enjoyable.
It did get a little hard to see and the sounds were a bit repetitive but it was fine, other than that!

Wow! I really enjoyed playing this game! Made it to the end and was congratulated with a bunch of wiggly arms.

Liked:
- It's a puzzle game! I love puzzles! Good progression from level to level as well
- Unique idea with having the enemies move only when you move
- Creative setting! I thought the whole situation was quite humourous
- Solid art and music. The style is cohesive, easy to parse, and did not get in the way of game play

Suggestions:
- It would have changed the game quite a bit, but it might make more sense if the character motion was locked to a grid. Maybe that's not a good idea though
- I want more levels :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Overall great entry!

Not the game I was expecting from the presentation - but a pleasant surprise. I really like the rough graphical style which is just enhanced with the scan lines. One of my favourite games so far for sure.

Very well done! I absolutely love this graphical style (though the text was sometimes a bit rough to read :P). The music was really good as well. The core concept was pretty unique too. All around really good job :)

A very unique experience, thank you! I was drawn to it at first by its presentation which is awesome (be it art style or captivating music) but I was pleasantly surprised to find an interesting puzzle game under all this. Love it! :)

The art is amazing. I find the gameplay quite charming with how the game actually only progresses while you're moving. Audio is nice and simple which fits the whole aesthetic. I do feel like the theme is not really there, I can see how you stretched it but don't really think it fits the theme fully. At the end it doesn't really matter how well it adheres to the theme. Bottom line, lovely game, would love to see you two expand it further and can't wait for future games!

Great entry that feels quite polished! The artstyle is weird, but quite cool in a very unique way. Gameplay is fluid und works quite well. What I loved the most about it was the amazing sound design - really drives you into that arena fught frenzy!

Very well done!

Like the feel with the wild crowd, smashing hammer and nightmare horses running. It also works well with the “super hot” time moves mechanic, with semi real time puzzles. I like how the timing puzzles work when you pick the right order and time to pass a obstacle. The later levels got a little too crowded and I couldn’t figure out the limited number of steps, so couldn’t beat all of them. Overall great feel to it, could play more less crowded levels.

Neat game! The art was unique and the concept of time only moving when you do is one I feel needs to be explored more often.

Awsome ! The good music and the "stopped time controls" make my feel like every level was really about finding the good "pace" !

Really fun and chaotic! I also really like the visuals as well as the fact time only moves when you move! Overall, a really good game!

@zesix The art style was made using Piskel. It's a web-based pixel editor.

@boxedmeatrevolution Thanks for your comments. We tried the grid based gameplay, but the game became too limiting on such a small grid. It would've fit the style well though!

Fantastic! Loved the overall concept, my only gripe is that I had to turn off the music after a while.

An unexpected twist, the time interpretation of currency. Works well, and cements this as a puzzle game rather than an action game that it appears to be at first glance. I especially like how even your death is drawn out alongside time, so you're given a brief chance at salvage. The music and the audio pair well together too, both having that sort of old-tribe vibe which works great for the setting of the game.

After playing games like this the only thing I can say, besides how cool everything was, is: Give me more levels! Really enjoyed every aspect of the game: the sounds are great, puzzles are interesting and graphics look unique and super cool. Some times it kinda hard to make out what is your character, and what's the obstacle, so maybe making him and his blood red would help, but I understand that it would kinda hurt the style of the game a little bit.

I really enjoyed the simple concept making it so easy to understand and get into. I liked that the object remained the same and yet the difficulty increased on every single level. At first I thought it was like a game of SNAKE and I could not touch my trail of blood or else I would die (I guess I was thinking it was ACID like from ALIEN). lol But soon discovered that it is actually my health depleting limiting my movements. :D The only thing missing was the ability to move with WASD since I prefer that over ARROWS :)

This is very well executed and a fun little game. Well done!
