Quite a fun take on Space Invaders. Something that would help alot with a game like this is a scoring system. :)

I agree with @ohfiddlediddle on the scoring system. Definitely will increase replay-ability so you should definitely consider it!

The dash feels a little bit weird, also some sounds for the enemy shots would be cool. Despite that I like the arcade-like looks and the HUD is very clean and intruitive too. Good job!

I like the game and the audio, I also agree that a score would help.

Interestimg game, I like the the edges mechanics. It's a hard game, the ship could have been a little smaller to decrease the chances to get hit.

Fun little game! Good job! Played it for quite a while and really enjoyed it! I only wish it would keep going as long as you can survive so you can try out lots of different upgrade combos. After playing many rounds there were still ones that I never even saw like the three wide or three long shot.
Couple bugs I noticed:
-You can farm the upgrade screen for more lives. They just keep coming from and you can stack up lives to buy all the upgrades.
-Upgrades can be clicked again by accident and wastes your lives.
-Sometimes pressing space to fire while on the upgrade screen buys one them. Doing this can re-buy something you've already bought; again wasting your lives
-I never beat the sphere boss but when I died to it it started the game from the start again with no "game over" screen.

Just minor things but I really enjoyed and wanted to keep playing! Great job again!

Hit a few minor bugs, but this was fun enough that I pushed thru them and tried again. Ended up loosing to the same boss that beat me last time because it looked like he had double spawned? Didn't work out great for me despite my upgrades. Cool take on space invaders with some really cool power ups.
