To play, run the LD44.exe in the LD44 folder. If it doesn't run, check that you have the vs2015 and/or vs2017 redistributables installed - these days it seems most folks have em.

Objective

Collect treasure to build heart containers and then fill them with LIF. After each level you can buy upgrades from the store with LIF.

Controls

WASD to move Space to attack

Enemies

ground spike traps spiders

Had fun making this, still didn't get to audio this time, also some missing hud icons and other essentials.

Pretty neat dungeon crawler. I like the spider design and the glow effect.

The combat didn't feel very tight; it was like I was ice skating towards and then away from enemies. It could really use some feedback when you hit or get hit, a red flash and a sound for both.

This interpretation on the theme was pretty interesting, though I wasn't able to get far with it due to the combat difficulty.

I dont know if this was only on my computer, but moving around was insanely difficult since the velocity is insane.
But nice work on the rest.

Fighting was too hard, so I just tried avoiding the spiders and traps entirely. With the kind of crazy velocity this made for a fun time.

The sliding feeling of the movement felt like I was supposed to skate around all the enemies. I may have just been too bad at attacking to make that work. Either way I had some fun running around the dungeon trying to avoid everything while collecting gold

Well done
