Some critters, I find, are far worse than other, the ghost is far better than the spiky one, so it does feel luck based sometimes. But all the deaths are preventable if you are just fast enough. Would be interesting to watch some Starcraft pro play this game.
Good use of the theme, really like the graphics and sound, wish there was some music. Overall a great game.

For the depth, mechanics and polish this entry has, I'm impressed it's actually a Compo submission. Not only does it feel full, but it also seems brimming with the kind of charisma and potential that could eventually make it into a full-fledged game. I'd really like to see something like this go bigger.
The spritework is simple, but perfect. The pets all look and behave different, so there's no confusion at all. Only a very fast paced multitasking. I really felt like a pet sitter losing my marbles.

Falando neles eles ficam bem únicos, cada um com sua característica e comportamento. Depois de pouco tempo a "fazenda" vira uma bagunça, não tenho coordenação motora e atenção o suficiente para jogar isso, hehe
Só achei ele muito difícil, não sei se é o caso, mas antigamente eu tinha um problema grande com regular a dificuldade dos jogos porque já que eu testava incansavelmente acabava virando um expert no jogo e não percebia o quanto ele não era amigável para novatos e isso acabava afastando muitos jogadores.
Enfim é um bom jogo, acho que ele atende bem o proposito dele.

But on the other side, I really like the mechanic of the game :). I love moving them around, feels very smooth. At the end of the day, I think i'd like to play a polished version of this game on my phone to fill time :grin:
Quite hard too keep all the little buggers alive...

Although its a little dificult to remember which monster does what. But I guess thats part of the difficulty of the game ^^
Great game
The art style is astounding I can't believe it's a compo game. The game is really fun and have a lot of potential.
If I have to nitpick I'd say the scoring need some improvement. Right now it's not clear to me whether I should try for higher earning or longer run or more pet cared. There should be some kind of central scoring system.
Regardless I rated it 5 stars overall because damn I don't need any scoring to fall in love with this gameplay!
The mechanism is simple - but the characteristic of each type of pets putting together brings so much possibilities. It's the most strategic and intense virtual pet game that I've ever seen. Currently it seems that the features of different pets are kinda scattered around different aspects so that not every subset of pets result in interesting interactions which makes the game less coherent. But I imagine in a more mature version the pets can be more carefully designed and result in a really amazing game.
I also like the retro art style and SFX a lot.
Great game! I hope you can continue work on it.
