This is a slick game for a one man show! The music was a little quiet so I had to turn up my speakers, but once I did, that's where the real atmosphere started. I love that it's randomly generated, so each playthrough is different!

I think a missed opportunity might've been the health counter though. I think a cool effect would've been a dark vignette around the screen that gets darker with each hit. I was really impressed with the death animation, so I guess I wish I saw more of it in the game. 72 hours is a short time, though!

Great fun, might be a little slow paced for my liking but it was still good. Got to 378 distance on first attempt.

It's is a nice game, but I wish it to be more challenging. Maybe some jump scares would create a better mood and fit more with the theme.

A simple concept, well executed. Visuals and audio were on point, but I'd have loved to see more done with the horror elements. Well worth expanding on :)

I enjoyed playing this game. My second try I got 155 for the distance. I would like to see the player move faster to give it more of an urgency. I agree with emiko, a vignette with each loss of a health point will also add to the horror tone. I think that you selected a good song to tie in with the theme, but it was a bit low. Great game!

Had fun playing this! Enjoyed the plentiful Mountain Dew and the existential dread of grocery shopping. 10/10 Relatable.

Very humorous entry. My favorite was the death animation, the slow decline from shopping cart driver to floor person. It all works well but I think the light flickering could get toned down a touch. Would also be cool with collectables on the shelves on either side occasionally, bread on sale or something. Overall, funny stuff, good job.

I liked the graphics in this one a lot, and it was fun to play. Sound design was excellent as well. Good job!

I liked the atmosphere you’ve created with with typical sterile supermarket environment and flickering lights. Though I didn’t get the panic mood as I could not see what was coming for me. Maybe add some of “the darkness” to edges of the screen to give player feeling that it is close. Controls are bit sliding and character moves really quickly. That makes it really hard to position yourself in a right way. You could have gone for the lane type of setup where player switches between predefined lanes to avoid objects. Or you could have player control the forward movement too. As it is avoiding objects feels too hard, you really have to do just exactly or you get damaged. Graphics are simple and effective. I really liked the darkness coming over as a wall that pushes stuff forward. Ambient sounds also work really well in creating the eerie feel.

Hm, not a bad entry~ Very polished art, for one, and the atmosphere is pretty good! Gameplay is simple enough; though there were times that the obstacles spawned in such a way that it was almost impossible to NOT get hit... As for the horror part... While the game certainly has the mood of one, there were no jumpscares or anything, from the looks of it. So it's just an infinite runner with a horror theme, not really combined with a horror genre... The death animation is hilarious, though, and really cool to look at! Oh, for some reason, I couldn't hear any music on my end... Sound effects were there, though.

All in all, a nice entry. Well done!

Quite a solid entry. I like the fact that it is not too scary and the controls are simple. Didn't get past 200pts though :crying_cat_face: . Atmosphere done really well. Did not notice anything gamebreaking at all. Is there anything specific you require feedback on?

I liked the idea of horror and endless runner. You did good with the theme. I liked the simple graphics and audio of this game. Although the game would be a lot better if you spent some time on the horror part. Overall great job on this game! It is a great entry.
