Soul Slicer by taco360

Soul Slicer is a fast-paced hack-n-slash platformer based around casting spells which drain your own health. As a lost soul, your goal is to escape the catacombs that you have been trapped in for the past hundred years.

Defeating enemies restores your health, so hitting every attack you throw out will leave you with more health than when you started fighting.

The game is interesting.
Has a nice, spooky mood made up by graphics and music.

Though, it is a bit difficult. Enemies could be more forgivable. I've passed a few locations without fights. They would kill me faster than I could even attack them..
Maybe that's me that I can play your game

Anyway, you made it really good and it's just about some minor adjustments

@noobexception Hey, thanks for the feedback! But about the difficulty, I think you may be playing a bit too aggressive. It's not that difficult to beat the game without being hit at all, you just need to be careful, know enemy locations, and keep your distance. You'll want to use your ranged attack to hit enemies while they're away, and your melee attack to push them back when they get too close.

Also, yeah, being able to avoid fights is intentional.

Lovely graphics and audio! I think the movement speed of enemies is a bit fast. Because I can't escape from enemies and shoot at the contrary direction at the same time.

Pretty neat graphics and gameplay, however, the UX of the game have some problems, first of all, I really miss the feedback on hitting enemies.
