A pixel, pseudo open world game, where you have to conquer all the goblin villages by dodging, shooting, and slashing your way to victory, and all the while, enemies are getting stronger with each kill. Comments, plays, and ratings are much appreciated.

IMPORTANT: Please rate my game in all the categories, so that I'll get the whole vote. I'm fine with you rating 1 star for things like humor and the like.

CONTROLS: WASD to move, Mouse to aim, Hold left click to charge attack (you can see the charge status by the red bar above your player), Release left click to attack, Space to switch between weapons, Right click to dodge

INFO: Mouse is almost necessary, Kill everyone to win, The white bar is your life, You don't have to charge your weapons all the way, You deal more damage with more charge, Arrows fly farther the more you charge them, Top left number is your kills, the more you have the more damage the enemies do (that's how it connects to the theme), Top right number is your ammo for your bow, Regular enemies drop health, bow enemies drop arrows, Sometimes when you charge them fully, the arrows fly past enemies, this is a bug, Regular enemies have 100 hp, bow enemies have 50 hp, Enemies will hang out at their spawn, so you have to go approach them

Nice little game. The enemy difficulty growth curve might my a little too steep though. I think the tenth enemy already took **a lot** of arrows.

Thanks for the feedback. The enemy thing was not from their health, but from their damage. Their health never changes. I agree that the difficulty curve is a bit too steep though

Great retro look. The sprites have quite a lot of personality given how few pixels they are. I did encounter a bug though. When I switched to the bow I got this after shooting a goblin.

loved these graphics, they were just so charming especially for such a low res art style. Very fun too! Good work.

I loved the retro-rpg style. The gameplay felt really good, I felt myself searching for an exp bar or some sort of level system, but obviously this is ludum dare and we all only had 2 days :D Great job!

Also, it eventually crashed with this error:

Nice game, loved the graphics and the look. It was fun as well, but it crashed on me with a fatal error. :(

That aside, it's a good game! Nice work!

I enjoyed the game play. I felt that the color palette made things very difficult to see on the screen. Also the sound effects became slightly irritating

Very cute, and I loved the dash. Sadly keeps crashing within a minute or so, exact same error as Matthew Roelle posted.

Cool graphics, like the simple sounds and effects. The gameplay was fun, but I'm experiencing the same crashing issues others are experiencing, it occurs when you try to shoot the bow when you have no more arrows. Other than that, great game!

Hmm, seems to crash if you try to shoot an arrow and you're out of arrows! I guess that really hurt.

Was fun until then. Was a little difficult telling what was going on some times. It was nice the trees faded when you were behind them, but the huts didn't, so I was sometimes behind a hut getting attacked without realizing it.

Fun game! Wish I was a little bit faster, and I think I got some goblins stuck on a tree and it was doing tons of small hits on them until they died (bottom left camp). Really liked the sound effects as well!

I like the idea. This looks like my last LD submission. Everyone told me I had "strong ideas", but I had some bugs. You made a nice game in 48 hours and that's important. I liked the sound and graphics, too, but I think you should have added shadows.

Pretty ambitious game for a compo entry, really intriguing, I had some minor bugs, but I could test enough to say that you did a pretty good job, the art is really good as so is the concept and gameplay. Great job ! Very impressive !

Fun game and good idea, but I don't understand why you have to kill everyone, there was no real motive :p

I also didn't realize I had a bow, so that could have been more clear in the game. The gameplay was solid and you could come up with different strategies on how to best take out a group of enemies. First take out the enemies with bows and then take out the enemies one by one.

The graphics worked well and the walking animation was really fun to look at. The sounds were okay but some music would be good to give the game a bit more uniqueness. Good job!
