The fact that you can't predict a red platform combined with the fact that it is making you lose a hell lot of momentum make it quit frustrating. Plus, knowing that you can be slowed by a plateform, you tend to try to land on the extremity of it, making it harder to know on what plateform you landed.
that's a pity cause i would have loved to go further, it seemed nicely done 👌
The game itself feels really polished; it has a tutorial, nice audio, mood and Rachel. And Rachel didn't shout at me when I failed over and over again. Although maybe it would be cool if she did.
I really enjoyed the freerunning in the game.
Keep up the great work!
One of my favorites so far.
I am currently stuck at level 3 and I am getting more and more frustrated because you get instantly reset and you have no idea really, of how close the wall is to you. I would have made something like a vignette or darken the screen if the wall was close like I did in my game (shameless plug) when you get overwhelmed.
Completed all the levels.
love the graphics! They remind me off Antichamber.
Could have done with some more play testing to balance the levels a bit. And the wall running mechanic felt a little off.
I give this game a solid 8/10
Didn't manage to go to the end of the last level tho' ^^'
One in all, really cool game.
The game looks great but at the moment doesn't seem to work for me.
Also you can negate the platform's effect if you jump just at the right time (most noticible with slow down and jump pads). If that's intentional it would be useful if you said that in the tutorial and maybe made the time window for it a bit bigger. If that's not intentional I'm not even sure how you completed the levels
I got all the way to the end of the last level, but I could not manage to touch the final crystal.
I also like the look of the game, and its music.
Good job!
Suggestion:
1)a smoother level difficulty raise
2)maybe make the purpose of colored platforms more obvious ( triple arrow above accelerate platform, a huge crack on single-time object, etc)
- lock on to walls automatically if you hit them, and jump to get off them, instead of holding jump to stay on. There are many occasions where you try to hold on to a wall but the game thinks I wanted to jump.
- Increase the hitbox of the crystal (or add more crystals to the final level). I got to the end of the last level around 6 times before giving up because hitting that crystal feels almost impossible!
- The difficulty is probably too hard too early
- You have to click with the mouse to start controling the camera
- I had problem with the jump, after a long time I understood that we could double jump and now I see that I had to hold the button
- The fact that we don't see the color of the platform is weird, it's like : do the whole level a first time to see what it is about and then clear it once you know the level. I don't think it is possible to clear a level from first try.
I sound maybe too negativ but I very appreciate it so I give my opinion on how it could be better (maybe).
Great work!
