It's a really nice game, a mix between a point and click and a visual novel, the drawings are great, and the music too! Simple and effective! Good job!

I really liked your game. Everything, from the graphics to the audio etc., is here to set the mood and it works imho. Felt really personal.
I might try it a couple of more times to get other endings.

marvelous little perl of a game, with good story writing. Sets a good mood, wish there was more story time.

Really enjoyed it. I got the "good liar" ending, but I want to play it again and see what other endings are there.
Loved the art and the music. The only nitpick I have is the font, which clashes with the beautiful had-drawn art style.

@squaredev Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, typography is not exactly my strong point, and something I need to improve at. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway!

This game is absolutely awesome! Got the "memory" ending, which struck quite the cord. I like the fact that you can't explore everything in one single playthrough.

I loved the interface, and the art is really good.

Wow! I followed you on twitter from a past LD entry; your games are unique and generally really enjoyable - visual novels just aren't a thing I run into very often during these. I liked the story, and I actually got all 4 endings. Graphics are great too.

Thanks for a great entry!

This is a really great idea! The ability to choose what YOU find sad, happy, etc. is exciting and allows the player to express their own morality without being prompted by the game- you have to really pay attention. Also, like everyone else mentioned, the audio and blurred painterly quality were both wonderful. Nice!

Nice entry! Although this is not my genre I enjoyed to play it for a short while and follow the narrative. Well done and nicely crafted!

I liked it! It's probably one of the most original visual novels I have ever played. I might play this again someday.

I love how for every game jam, there is an artistically and philosophically astounding game. I really liked playing it. Got the 1st ending.

I love it! I always appreciate interesting new storytelling techniques that break the boundaries of traditional visual novels/IF.

The first ending I got (from :) on all) was very vague and not that engaging by itself. But when I got "Memories", I felt like I uncovered a huge part of the story that I originally did not see. I like the replay value!

The art style evoked the feeling of hazy reminiscence. I like that the image became more clear closer to the eye and less further away.

The drawings are great and the audio is excellent. I initially thought that one sound when accepting a thing as either bad or good came from the room beside me - was a bit of a shock since I did not expect somebody to be there at that time. I guess that speaks for the sound quality. :D
I'm afraid I do not grasp if that this is a mono- or dialoge. Are these different persons, or is it the same (Lou?) talking to herself?
I really like how the coloured circle grows when holding an item over either one of the smileys. Fits the art style and mood very well.
I like the perfume ending best - its funny.

Loved the art, the presentation and the storytelling, as well as the multiple storylines. An impressive amount of work done over the course of the weekend, well done. Have played some VN's but never seen the 'Like'/'dislike' mechanic, thought that was really cool.

Gameplay at around 12 minutes: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298139021##

Loved this short work as a visual novel fan. Guess there are some things that need to be sacrificed in order to have a good memory of a beloved one.

Very nice game, congrat's! Lot's of content for such small game. And it really was interesting to try and find all the endings! Also graphics and audio are excellent, as well as the overall mood.

On a side note I didn't quite realize in the beginning who I was playing, Lou or her partner, I didn't even realize those were dialogs (font color difference is very subtle) but it all became obvious at the first ending
and these are just details. It's an excellent entry overall!

Great game! I love the choices you're given, although some more guiding hints would be nice so I didn't end up with the same ending multiple times. Everything other than that was beautiful. Amazing tone.

It took me several playthrough to get all endings and understand the relationship and it was worth it! Your good/bad mechanic may be a little bit of a Manichean to represent how deep memories can be but it serves the game design quite well.

At first I thought every object had a special interaction, but then I realised they were unlocked depending on the number of good/bad memories. It's nice because the first playthrough was a blind one, not knowing what to expect, but they I understood how it work and it wasn't awfully long to get all endings and understand the story.

So, overall I really liked your game! It's funny to see many games about memory for this theme, but I guess we all can relate to that ^^'
Good job!!

I found the controls for viewing the memories a bit clunky. I found myself having to hold the mouse button to continue hearing the conversations with my partner. After the first conversation I tried to move the item to the correct emoticon, but it physically moved the object instead of registering the memory to the way I wanted to sort it.

I think I was too kind. I was trying to sort the memories of happiness towards positive, and the memories of anger and violence toward the negative. I wasn't sure if I was getting rid of these memories, or instead rating them to select a mood for the end of the experience.

I saw another similar visual novel where I need to read a memory and decide to keep or forget it, but that doesn't seem to be the actions I'm taking here.

I liked the details you put into the story. I wish it were more evident how much of the conversation was left. A few times I decided on an item quite quickly and wasn't sure if there was more to the discussion that I missed and would impact future decisions.

With a voice actor, I think you could create a compelling story. I like how you captured the dialogue with the colored text.
