The concept works well with the theme and I like the art direction. I would have liked some background music and a bit more animation/game feel (maybe have the character sprite moving more, have the food pop in rather than just appear, etc).

Fun game!
It's really hard with the 3 boulders x) my high score is 122!
(Maybe stop spawn burgers when the player don't move for the beginning)

Great job!

Fun, but my imagination had to fill in the game feel elements. I really wanted the bouncing character to ragdoll around and flop around in a funny way. The spawning foods I was also imagining with their own personalities to pop in or be consumed in hilarious fashion.

Nice idea, but I think it needs something more to it than just bouncing and collecting food.
I think it needs different levels and upgrades etc. and a good polish.

Much like life - eat, get fat, die. Fun looking design and graphics. The tumbling is a nice touch.

I found it rather fun! The hopping around feels very good, and the crunch you get when you ger a burger is quite satisfying. It is also quite engaging when you try to get a good streak. I like it.

Hahaha! What a game, this was a ride!

First of all, I got a highscore of 102. I do not know if that is good or bad.

Concerning the graphics, I liked it a lot and everything fit very well together. The way you worked with the player sprites was very impressive as well.
Concerning the audio it was the most entertaining part, the derpy trampoline sound effect made me laugh

Overall I enjoyed this game and I had such an amazing time playing it. It was addicting and that’s a good thing. I’m totally going to come back to this game later. Thank you so much for this experience and good luck in the future!
Have an awesome day, and I hope to see you in the next jam!

Pretty simple, but fun to play! Could use some music, but the "boing" sounds was good. Some more animation would be nice, but I liked how the sprite changed as you ate more.

Fun game! The only thing I miss is a shop with upgrades, then it's a perfect game to spend a rainy afternoon on.

Also, I got a pretty nice score:

Well done!

Kind of boring, and where does it fit the theme? It doesn't have any direct effects, only steady difficulty progression, which isn't the same.

@notpresident35 The idea is that the more fat you have the harder it is to avoid hitting the meatballs.

Nice concept. Simple but enjoyable. One thing: once I died, I could still control now-invisible fat man (or what was left of him, anyway).

Managed 128. I like the idea of the movement mechanic changing to rolling as you eat more, but would have been cool if there had been more stages like that to keep things interesting. (Although in fairness I have no idea where you would go after rolling). Was an interesting take on the theme I thought, well done.

I didn't realize I was bigger until I start to roll hahaha. Fun game.

Maybe some arrows before the rocks appear would help. Sometimes you don't step the bouncing floor until you see the rock because you know that it is coming but since you don't know from where, maybe you don't have time to avoid it.

Nice idea!

Really liked rolling guy and a valuable life lesson that the game teaches you - if you'll eat to much you will be flatten by the giant meatball.

Rely enjoyed playing the the game but could need more features like upgrades. 4.5/5

The bouncing pad mechanic is pretty cool. Although you are kind of screwed if there is a meatball between you and it.

Controls felt responsive and it was fun to move him. The art was a little abstract, was I in a diner booth? Was the floor made of cheese pizza? The meatballs made sense though.

Auto jump mechanic is cool, it can be dangerous to get food near the sides as there's not much range vision.
