Changelog:

V1.01 - fix audio - change "speed" into rational speed (used to be "impossible speed")


Just catch the bunny and get punished every time you got one

Technology Used: - Engine: Unity - IDE: VS2017 and Mono (My VS doesn't work in the middle of project so i'm using Mono) - Graphics: Photoshop - Music: FL Studio

Controls: - A - the bucket or basket is going left - D - same as above but going to right - esc - Pause / Unpause - W - Extra Accelerate if available - shift - Faster Movement

Info: - White Rabbits = +10 score - Red Rabbits = +20 score - Blue Rabbits = acceleration +1 (activate acceleration by W key) - missed = -50 score

*oh yes, no Rabbits or bunny were harmed in the process of making this game, just traumatized lol

Yeah, it's unclear what red and blue bunnies do. Maybe some hints in the menu or when the game actually starts? It will be nice.

The bunnies are adorable! I wish there was a better indication when you are about to lose but I enjoyed the game. Nice work.

Fun game, thought the rabbits faces were made well graphically. Mechanically, I wanted to suggest a couple of things

1. There seems to be no reason to not hold shift the whole time to move faster. Like there didn't appear to be a downside to it, and it was unlimited. So really, there was no reason to not just hold it down.

2. I wanted to see what the mechanic was with the blue rabbit and the acceleration, but I was unable to try it out. A few games, I didn't even see a blue rabbit, and on the attempts that I did, they only showed up late and I was heading for a game over before I could get it


Also, there seemed to be a small graphic bug after collecting a rabbit in the beginning. Once i would collect one and move the basket, sometimes the graphic of the one I collected would seem to flash back in and then out again.

Overall though, it was a fun game. Would like to see what you could do with it given more time after the jam.

@manbeardgames thank you for the feedback, now you say that maybe i'll tweak the control a bit for future reference,

and for the number 2 i guess the random is really "random", not "weighted" random, i still search the formula for weighted random,

and those graphic bug, yes i still searching the fix code.

The cat-bunnies and overall graphics are cute, and I like the music alot, even if it seems not to loop properly, but that's just a minor thing. :)

It gets very hard pretty quickly, which didn't allow me to try and use the blue-bunnies power up; once there was a blue one, I was already too slow to keep up with all the buns.

Still, a cute game :)

Cute little game. I agree with others that it starts out very easy and instantly hits the ceiling and gets super hard. Still, it's charming and simple. Good work.

Hey there! This game brought back so many fond memories of Newgrounds games i played back in the day. I do think the music is a tad loud when you start up and I had to almost turn it off before starting the game.

I do think that even though the sprites could use some work, if you added some kind of mechanic that elevated the core gameplay from just "another basket catching game" to something innovative and new, it would be awesome!

A really simple and fun concept to fit the theme, but I honestly feel a lot more could have been done. Like probably adding power ups and things like that. As it gets really hard in the later stage of the game.
Anyway good effort and all the best, those are some cute looking bunnys xD

Well done for finishing a game in the time allotted. The graphics were crisp and clear. I am glad you found time to put in a volume control as the music was a little loud.

and for the audio maybe i was too....uh...."rushed" that i forgot to turn the volume down in my mixer, btw thanks for the audio warning there, i'll make something "ear friendly" next time while fixing this :D

@blizary yeah, even if i playing with "try hard" mode i still got roughly 50 rabbits, i'll tune the difficulty for next, btw thank you for the feedback and for playing :D

Some problems:
The basket could seems to move left/right to the infinity (though normal players won't do this)
There are rabbits flashing on the horizontal line just above the basket

And the "rabbits" reminds me of tippy in "is the order a rabbit" (lol)

yeah, for the graphical bug i still searching the core of the problem, since i was tried all solution that i had in my mind i still can't get it lol. and for the basket.....uh......i'll implement that along with the graphical bug fix

Hey @keilazu

Really nice entry! Its minimalistic but enjoyable.
The audio were a bit too loud but had a really good flow. The gameplay
itself is nice and motivating. As the others said the pacing between the start and the later parts is a bit too difficult. But hey I enjoyed it anyways :grin:

@samurai-spark thank you for playing :D yeah i forgot to tune the volume down since i normally in 20 volume in headset, for the "difficulty".....i'll keep that as a reference for next fix and next game, and for the rabbits......i can get diabetes only looking at them lol
