Game made by team of five undergraduate students of computer science. Story is inspired by the life of Le Petit Prince and his everyday routine of keeping his planet clean of evil baobabs.

Best experience observed when played in Google Chrome (Firefox does not render some sprites properly)

Whole code, idea and graphics made on our own, sounds downloaded.

The idea behind the game is very well thought out, and the graphics look great!

I would have liked to be able to choose the direction I was going to throw the plants to make it a little easier to get them killed - as I had a lot of trouble getting the evil plants in the volcano. :)

Nice graphics and interesting gameplay !
I only destroyed 3 trees, but this was funny to play :)

I really enjoyed the art style and the music. I also enjoyed the gameplay, but as Heinrix said before me it was difficult to aim the plants! I would have loved to choose the direction. I think that's my only problem with the game. Great entry!

Nice idea and graphics. Hard to judge the trajectory and the side you will throw to.

Le petit prince was actually the first thing I thought of when seeing the theme anouncement :) I like the idea of removing baobabs as a game. The graphics were excellent and helped creating a cool mood. Even though you didn't create the sounds yourself, they still fitted very well. The gameplay lacked a bit of variety and it took some time to get used to the controlls and understand how your position relative to the tree affects its trajectory. After that its relatively easy. I wish there was some kind of score that showed you how many trees you removed. You could also change the font since its hard to read in my opinion. All in all a nice entry!

It would be really nice, if you tried out our own game and left some feedback :)

Yes, you are right that it is not obvious and it can be difficult to aim. The direction of throw is determined by distance of the guy from the centre of particular plant ;)

Like others i would have liked to be able to choose baobab's direction, but like a game made in only 72 hours i need to give you my congratulations, indeed is a beautifull game with a simple idea that works. You have a very funy game and a beautiful art, well done.

Cute visuals, fun gameplay... nice entry! I had fun for a while playing this.

It could be nice if the player could handle better the trajectory of the trees when he takes it out.

Really good idea, but I had no control over where the plants will be thrown and also, the gravity felt not right. But I really liked the concept, and I like The Little Prince, so, well done there :D

Actually the most beautiful graphics, I have seen in all the ld38 games, I have played so far. I actually did figure out, how to aim the shots, but it is rather difficult, because you can't see the line to shot at until you are already pulling, so the direction of your shots is not random, but definitely hard to aim.

For anyone interested: To aim a shot you have to stand at a specific location relative to the pulled tree. If you stand on the far right side of the tree, then you will pull and throw it in a flat angle to the right. Standing in the middle of a tree will throw it in a high angle upward and so on.

Amazing game! Here is my little garden

It wasn't very easy to get into game – it took me a while until I realized how to aim and that there are flowers too. But the combination of beautiful visual, pleasant music and nice theme didn't let me to leave the game until I got beneath the surface of complex mechanics as well

I liked the graphics and sounds. The font was also nicely chosen. I would choose better music - something magical or fairy-tale-ish.

The controls are weird and not enough explained. I tried to figure them out, but they still seem pretty random. I thougt the tree is going to be thrown behind my back, but sometimes it didn't. And the angle seems random too.

The game doesn't have a winning condition, right? So the goal is to have a nice relaxing experience. Which I had. Thank you :)
