All the systems worked about as I'd expect in an adventure game. I agree with Sargonius that highlighting items on mouse over is nice. I'm not sure I get the QfG reference, but maybe my brain's being fuzzy about things. The hotspots are definitely too small sometimes, particularly on objects like the metal rings. I also had trouble with it registering clicks sometimes, but that might be a physics thing.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Erasmus Crowley","author_uid":"1008840","time":"2018-12-04T03:53:57Z","epoch":1543895637,"modified":1543895637,"text":"@irwatts \n\nAh. Drag and drop would have been good. Noted. Thank you!\n\n@incobalt\n\nQuest for Glory was one of my favorite point and click series, and I wanted the name to be an homage to it. If you click on your character in game, there is a reference to QFG as well. Just a few small things to amuse myself.\n\nI agree about the small hotspot on the rings. It was really short but I enjoyed my time with it.\nOne thing that would be nice to add if you plan on making a full adventure game would be a \"hotspot detector\" which would save some pixel hunting time (took me a while to find the stick of dynamite). Another thing that kind of bothered me was clicking on the player giving the \"overworked\" line. I accidentally clicked on the player around 20 times during my short playthrough, so would probably be better not to get a response.\n\nAll in all, great entry!","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"ruddgasm","author_uid":"1126652","time":"2018-12-05T08:57:01Z","epoch":1544000221,"modified":1544000221,"text":"Short but effective. Wasn't too sold on the theme, just felt a little underwhelming overall. I definitely feel like it could've used some kind of subtle highlight or shine for items that could be interacted with, such as with the dynamite, which took me several minutes to find. Maybe could've done with a slightly better camera angle as well, shifted more upwards perhaps.
