Dragon's Gold by kleinzach

[raw]
made by kleinzach for LD 44 (JAM)

You are a dragon, therefore you must protect your treasure at all cost. You are a very small however, so your hoard consists of just a single gold piece. Giants have arrived who wish to steal it.

Hands will try to make off with your treasure. Aim (Mouse Movement) with a fireball (Left Click) or a bite (Right Click) to attack them. You can also bite the coin to move it to where you want.

Avoid of the giant's weapons by moving (WASD) and leaping (Space). If you are hit you will be stunned.

Keep the your treasure for as long as possible for a high score.

If you are having a bad run Reset with 'R'. You can exit game with 'Esc'.

Nice sounds and very nice graphics. An interesting concept that draws in simplicity.

A cute little defense game. I like the voice-only SFX.

I actually burst out laughing at the sound effects. I eventually lost because I had so many beers and forks on me that I got stunlocked.

Otherwise, while being on the simple side, it's a decent entry. Good job !

Small but enjoyable game. My highscore was 251,2323. Only thing that annoyed me a bit was how slidy the movement feels when quickly changing directions.

Nice gameplay.
The arena was a bit too dark, I lost my sense of orientation and couldn't even see the "barrel?" that was moving up and down.
Maybe add a flare or some ambient light to notice more the environment
