A Little Case of Presidential Disappearance by schmavery

[raw]
made by schmavery for LD 44 (JAM)

A small adventure game about solving an important mystery.

It's very very small, we had to reduce the scope of the original storyline quite a bit. We both really liked the concept and hope to properly finish it after the jam. That said, it should be completely playable in its current form, just extremely short. It's a teaser!

Lol, I enjoyed all the dialog and what was there. You obviously know what it is you would have to work on, but some little things like sorting the sprite display order so you appear behind objects would go a long way to making this feel more polished.

Anyway, I can't talk now. I'm bust celebrating.

"I think this is just a painting of a door." This is A+ my type of humor. And it wasn't even political. The controls were a bit finicky. Would have been good to have some sort of highlight or audio when I selected an item. I ended up double-clicking, single-clicking, and never really sure which was correct. Maybe I was supposed to click and drag? Oh well. I hope there are more opportunities for body-switching in the future!

I like the idea of a point and click, and would like to see it finished :D

@carraka sorry about the confusion there. Single-clicking an item and then a place on the map to use the item should work, and dragging an item onto the map should also work. Not sure what happened when you were running it, maybe some unresolved bugs
