Regarding the theme, it didn't really feel like I was consciously sacrificing the previous character to gain their ability - it was more like - I died because I couldn't get past a specific enemy and then I got the exact ability I need to gain that ability on the next playthrough. Maybe it would have been better if the sacrifice was an active decision of the player?
The number of sound effect is not enough, but the music is great.
Sometimes I keep hitting 'J' but I'm still unable to use my skill for some reason...So basically I finished the game without using my skill.
hope this can be improved next time.
Overall, quite nice game.
