Rocket-Pet is our game for the Ludum Dare 41th Edition.

It's the mashup between a Shoot'em up and a Tamagotchi game.

The goal is to kill people and take care of your pet, a starship.

The game is splitting in 2 phases:

1) You control the ship to eradicate a zone, populated by chickens.

2) When you complete a zone, you take care of your pet to heal, clean and upgrade him.

I liked the background, the colors where just too intense. maybe have the same buildings in less intense colors? Good idea!

Cute. The graphics are VERY vivid, hard to make out what's what at first. An "enemy" taking a hit could've used some feedback, also some kind of UI to show the options you have when grooming/upgrading.

Well, that's certainly two styles I've not seen yet in all the games I've played.

I did not realize you could switch tools on my initial play through, though. Oops!

Wow, loved it!

The time when the saw just gets bigger than the own rocket is wonderful. Feels sooo nice to kill those flying things <3

Very cool idea! Fun mashup and easy to understand. Some feedback when getting hit or hitting enemies would've been great though.

Seems like a game made on acid by two genius squirrels! :D (IN A GOOD WAY) Very good game design! Highly intuitive! Hats off! 💛
