Prehistoric Shifter by IvanFon

[raw]
made by IvanFon for LD35 (JAM)
Consider this more of an early prototype (there are a lot of bugs and it's definitely un-finished). This was our first Ludum Dare and we didn't have much experience with the tools and constantly ran into problems. But hey, at least we made something. We may develop a post-mortem version later when we have more time.

If you stay in one form for too long, you start losing health.

===CONTROLS===
Arrow keys to move
C to spawn an enemy
Space to attack
1-3 to shapeshift into a different form
G to turn god mode on/off

===Tools Used===
Game engine: Superpowers
Art: the Superpowers asset pack (we didn't make it)
Sound effects: sfxr
Music: Ableton Studio

===CREDITS===
Ivan Fonseca - Programming, Sound Effects
Nova Kelly - Programming
Ryan Torrington-Smith - Music

Cool theme and I like the game play. I bugged it out once though, the enemies spawned on top of my head and I couldn't move but also wasn't taking damage.

I like the idea. If you keep developing this I'd definitely be interested in playing some later versions

The idea is funny, but like stated it doesn't look finished. Could probably be a fun game though.

Interesting idea. The issue is that it gets a little repetitive after a while.

If this was expanded upon, it could be really good.
Nice art though.

Alot of technical issues to iron out, which I'm sure you're aware of since you included a god mode button. Kinda too early to judge for sure. Nice pixel art though.

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
p.p.s. is it multiplayer ?
